Over all experience is not all that great. The truck we were given ended up leaking pretty bad on some of the most expensive stuff we own. It was like we rented a dump truck. Inside the truck had a lot of chalking in the corners and beams. I would think it's very important to make sure the trucks don't leak cause people valuables are being transported in them. We should be able to trust that our stuff will not get damaged by water. That's the reason we rented a box truck.

I dropped off the truck outside of business hours, but I had my receipt just shortly after they opened. Efficient. The store from the outside looked clean, and the area looked safe to leave the vehicle. Key Dropbox had a huge lock keeping them safe.
Janis DLocation was dirty and stunk. People were smoking pot in the back and that’s all you could smell through the whole place. Rental process took over an hour just to get a trailer. Drop off location was supposed to be open at 7am. Still locked up with no lights on at 830.
WILLIAM PWhen I reserved the trailer through the APP, I listed the pickup time as 1:30pm. I was traveling from West Palm Beach to Jacksonville, and that was my best approximation for pickup. Nowhere on the APP did it inform me that they closed on Friday at 2pm. I received a call at 1:35pm asking where I was, and I explained I had just arrived in town and stopped to eat, that I would be there immediately following. I was told that I would need to come now as they closed at 2pm. So I dropped everything and traveled to collect the trailer. When I arrived, I informed the lady that I was in need of a receiver and ball for my hitch, since my truck was new and I had not yet purchased one. She said they were relatively new and that they didn't have a receiver for me to rent or purchase. I told her I needed to go somewhere to get a receiver and would return ASAP. She told me that her employer would NOT pay her passed 2pm. I asked her to please allow me to go down the street to collect a receiver and I would return ASAP. I left, returned with the receiver and ball, and the lady complained that she had a doctor's appointment that she was now late for and stated that if her boss came down on her for her working beyond 2pm, she was going to have her call me. I politely asked her to PLEASE do so, and explained that we had previously had our son's F150 serviced at Bridges Auto and would gladly share with her employer that because we had a history with them, we were happy to rent the UHaul from them rather than another source. I explained that if her employer had an issue with that, then we would not be doing business with them in the future. I asked the lady to get her story straight.....was it that her employer didn't want to pay her after 2pm, or was it that she had a Doctor's appointment? The lady then calmed down and her demeaner became much nicer. We won't be acquiring a UHaul from this location in the future and we won't be referring either. It's too bad that this happened. We had otherwise had a pleasant experience with Bridges Auto in the past.
