There was nobody at the site to help hook the trailer up to my truck, and despite the employee stating that they had left me a voicemail to advise me of the same; I had no missed calls, nor did I have any messages.

Norma was very helpful with the rental process, however, there was no one to assist me with loading the car on the trailer or hooking up the trailer.

I will not use U-haul again because of my experience with the drop-off location. They charged me an extra $40 with $25 for a cleaning fee and the remaining $15 was for a fuel charge. When I called to dispute the charges, the woman at the drop off location was extremely rude. The truck was spotless when I dropped it off. According to her, the cleaning fee charge was because the windshield had a bunch of bugs on it. It’s lovebug season in Florida and the truck already has bugs caked onto it at the time of my pickup. When I explained this to the woman, she told me to “take this up with the pickup location.” Had I known the windshield needed to be cleaned, I would have done this myself. I also returned the truck at 5/8 fuel level which was the amount of fuel in the tank at pickup. According to the woman at the drop off location, the truck was 1/2 full. I have been renting cars from Enterprise for years and have NEVER returned a car with less than the original amount of fuel. Bottom line: do not use U-Haul, unless you want them to charge you aimlessly. If you do use U-haul, document EVERYTHING! They have taken an extra $40 of my money for no good reason.

I was overcharged by $10 and still haven’t received a refund or a credit, let alone a phone call. I was charged for a cart that I never received. The pickup location was disorganized and had 1 person answering phones and having no urgency to help me. She walked outside and pointed at a truck and a trailer and told me to “hook that up and you’re good” and walked back inside. I also sat at the place for around 30 min while she answered phones and overcharged me the $10

EQUIPMENT: IT WAS CLEAN BUT THERE WAS AN ISSUE WITH THE GAS TANK. WHEN YOU WOULD TRY TO PUT GAS IN THE TRUCK UNLESS YOU WERE HOLDING THE GAS NOZZLE DOWN IT WOULDNT LOCK IN (AS IF THE TANK WAS ALREADY FULL). I NOTIFIED UHAUL AT THE DROP OFF LOCATION. PICK UP LOCATION: I WOULD HONESTLY TELL THE NEXT CUSTOMER TO STAY FAR, FAR AWAY FROM THIS UHAUL LOCATION. IMMENSELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND PROBABLY THE WORST EXPERIENCE IVE DEALT WITH, WITH A COMPANY.

Still waiting for someone to call me back about the complaint I filed over 72 hours ago. The place I didn’t add the extra day to my auto transport so I was charged a late fee I was treated extremely terrible by the uhaul place I dropped everything off the lady told me “it’s only $20.00 why don’t you just pay it” threatning me with calling the police that it’s my fault and it was my idea to split the the contract and it’s just back firing on me I didn’t want two separate contracts thiswas just a screw up by the original uhaul place that wanted to save me money on the auto transport and have me pay for it the next day because I asked if I load my uhaul today can I pick up the auto transport. So she suggested just paying for it the next day she added the extra day for the uhaul but not the auto transport so technically the uhaul would of been late (i paid the late fee and extra mileage already on uhaul) but the auto transport would of been due the day I dropped off at 4:00 meaning the auto transport wouldn’t of been late just the uhaul. I have never in my life been spoken to the way the drop off place treated me I asked for a manager and I was told she was the manager then after I leave the place I get an email From someone claiming to be the manager and they were standing behind me and there employee wasn’t acting rudely this is a complete lie and I can’t believe they would have the nerve to email me about that when my priority is getting this $20 resolved. but she was extremely rude no one was standing behind me if they were why didn’t they step up when I asked for the manager?

I’m feeling very taken advantage of. My rental was for a 10’ truck. Right before I got to the pick-up location I got a call from you saying my location had changed and that I’d be getting a 15’ truck instead. The larger truck uses way more gas and when i returned the truck 2 days early and 300 less miles I was told that no amount of refund was possible. This seems like robbery to me as no one had said that was the case and of the 100 times I’ve rented vehicles in my life never have I heard of this policy. this place does not care about customers time, they were 1 hour late opening doors, I returned equipment same day and the business is suppose to be open but no one there, tried to call to let them know I returned equipment, person that answered was a relative of owner and could not speak English, then uhaul overcharged my credit card and claimed it was a computer error which is not true, it was a human error, and now I am fighting to get my money credited back to me and all the customer service people are terrible especially the managers, this experience has cost me money including the 2 workers I had waiting on the clock to load materials on the trailer and I was an hour and a half late so 25 dollars an hour times 2 workers for 1.5 hours, next time I will borrow a trailer from a friend or just buy one , U-Haul was a mistake from start to finish, we will see, I still don't have my refund yet, hopefully I don't have to get my lawyer working on the case

Difficult to move equipment in cramped space. No one was there despite being there during open hours! Had to use the mobile check in procedure which does not fully work on Firefox. Had to start over using another browser. Took 20 minutes to finish would should have been 5 if someone had been there.

The first trailer I was assigned had a blown tail light, so we had to swap to another one. I would encourage customers to check their equipment before renting to be sure everything is in proper working condition and notify your pickup/drop off of any issues.
