Uhaul originally wanted to charge me for incorrect drop off location when I asked to drop off at Jacksonville. They wanted me to drive an empty trailer to Birmingham or pay $250 fee for changing the plan. My wife worked it out with customer service fortunately and we dropped off in Jacksonville.

Did not rent the truck from Jacksonville because Uhaul changed my location to Anniston, 20 miles away and a huge inconvenience. Also, the truck did not have the equipment I had requested, dolly for appliance. Had to got to Jacksonville for that, and, they had a truck I could have rented at Jacksonville. This was all jacked up.

I scheduled a local pickup at 8am and was last-minute switched to a pickup location 30 minutes away. This really caused issues with our moving timeline. To make matters worse, the truck was in terrible condition and I was not offered a chance to inspect it before finalizing the rental agreement. I work in the trucking industry and there is no way it would pass a DOT inspection. If not for the last minute swith that put us behind, I would not have accepted it. The brakepads were unserviceable and squealing, the tires were bald and the differentials creaked and groaned during the entire trip. If I would have gotten stopped by the DOT, it would have resulted in a grounded truck and a very expensive ticket. As a customer, I should not have been put in this situation, and renting out a truck that is such a blatant safety hazard is unacceptable. This experience was terrible and I am very hesitant to ever rent from uhaul ever again.

The dash 12 volt plugs didn't work in the dash. The most frustrating part was that the location never had the appliance dolly I reserved. The second u haul location couldn't make the computer work to rent the dolly, and the u haul call line hung up on the first call, and then waited for 10 minutes on hold when I walked out the door. Don't lie to me saying you will deliver, when you don't have the equipment available.

The individual that checked me in continued to assist other customers as he was assisting me. He wasn’t helpful when parking the trailer and didn’t check the equipment in and I received a call and email reference missing equipment. I will definitely choose a different location if I require a trailer.

The only issue we had is that the process for renting took longer than I think it would usually; the computer froze during the transaction. The clerk mentioned that U-Haul has had issues recently with their computers/servers/etc.

If you don't need the hand trucks they shouldn't leave them im the truck. They just get in the way. I know they just want you to use them and pay the 10$. But if you don't use them they take up space needed to put stuff.

Rented on friday, quoted a price and when I return truck in a saturday the rate increased. Weekend rates are higher. Gas rates jumped, milage rate jumped up and not at all happy that I was not informed.

They did not check the vehicle before I picked it up. I had to put a extra $30.00 of gas into the truck when I returned it due to the management of this location not checking the truck before hand and not marking the right gas amount. I asked for a call from the manger twice and also I called and left a message for him and I never revived a call

I had to wait over 40 minutes to rent the u-haul because the guy there couldn't get the internet to work that morning. I returned the truck that same afternoon and had the same issues with having to wait because of the internet. I was just so exhausted from moving so I finally just told the guy working that I didn't want a recipt and I was leaving. This was very inconvient for me and my family.
