Having the mileage we had to move we were told we couldn't drop off the uhaul at a different location or so we were told. Having drop off locations would have saved us a ton of miles and even helped us with our current moving situation. We were told we had to bring it back to a specific uhaul which had us running back the opposite way to which we were moving our furniture to adding to the stress of mileage.

The trailer has a dent, it also had a tire with low pressure. The owner/manager was not friendly at all or professional. We had brought in our truck to inspect our hitch system days prior and were told the ball hitch was adequate. The day off pickup we were told the opposite, that it wasn't the right height so we almost had to postpone our trip.

Reserving online made for a quick experience getting the truck. HOWEVER, I only drove 18 miles and your GASOLINE CHECK-IN PROCEDURE was a total ripoff. I was charged $8.00 for gas when I couldn't have used more than a gallon, or so (18 miles!). Yes, I could have put a gallon and a half in myself, but with your inexact guage measurement standard, I could still have been charged additionally. so I paid the eight bucks. RIP-OFF! But the truck was clean and did the job I needed. Staff at the location was friendly..

Can provide tongue jacks on your trailers. I almost broke my wrist unhitching it the night i got ot because i still needed to go to work the next day. Then when it came time to hook back up it took 3 of us to lift it. I even tried using a floor jack ..wasnt working... That is udderly ridiculous that a women has to go through all that...needless to say I am shopping for my own trailer....

Was not conferrable with the Ram truck. Not U Haul fault but the truck was poorly designed, radio to far to right for safe driver operation. Had to search for cruise control because the symbols were not common. Truck failed to go into gear, had to turn off and restart. Compass would have been helpful on the dash board cluster for drive to see. Heater dial print to small to be seem from driver seat. Service at pick up and drop off was very good, polite staff and well informed.

The customer service rep, Dan, was unfriendly. I had my reservation number from renting the truck online, and after multiple attempts of trying to find me in the system and him telling me he couldn't find me (then looking at me like there was nothing else he could do), I told him for the third time that I had the number he finally listened and found me right away. He doesn't seem like a good fit for customer service. My experience could have been quicker and more friendly. Although calling with questions earlier that day, I talked with a lady who was very friendly and helpful.

I dropped the trailer off in Jackson, went in the store and was greeted by an individual that seemed like expected me to know that I don't come in to let them I'm there to drop off a trailer, that I go outside and wait. Okay, by the time I go outside the guy is looking over my trailer and doing as he should and has me back it in to a spot. He unhooks me and I leave. I get home and I realize that I didn't get the $13 cord that I paid for on Mallory Lane in Brentwood, TN. I call back to the uhaul phone number and about an hour later the manager calls me back and I very nicely explain what happened. His response was that he either could have put it on my bumper or I drove off with it still in my car and for all he knew it could have fallen off somewhere. Yes - I agree but my point was that he unhooked me and he should have handed it to me. I asked for a credit and his response was to come back and get a new one. Unfortunately I shared that I'm not anywhere near the store anymore and that I can see I won't be getting anywhere and he realized that "a big complaint was coming his way!" It's not so much a complaint as an area to work on within U-haul. Communicate with the customer! Let them know that they have a cord that doesn't belong to u-haul and HAND it to them. If my call was recorded you would realize that I wasn't being rude I was just pointing out that I'm missing a cord and he felt that it wasn't his responsibility. Who's right in this instance? Feel free to call me with any input because I'd like to know. If I'm wrong, then I will happily withdraw this feedback, but I do feel strongly that U-haul should have communicated with me and at the very least say - "hey, you have a cord back here that is yours you may want to take it out before you leave so it doesn't get lost."

Trailer looked awful, the wiring loom ended up blowing the fuses on my truck. Location was ok, however after previously applying for a larger Auto transport and being told that they wouldn’t transport it to the pick up site even with 4+ hours notice should be plenty of time to have someone send down a truck to drop off a trailer, was incredibly disappointed with customer service by U-Haul in general. Having to chose a lower quality trailer actually ended up with damage to the vehicle I was transporting.

E. Michigan Ave. location in Jackson needs more staff!!! Very long lines on Saturday, 10/28. Also, your rental unit layout is very strange. Why would you have the largest rental units up a flight of very narrow stairs and on a very narrow hall. After struggling to get it up the narrow staircase, we had a terrible time trying to get furniture turned the right direction in the narrow hallway to squeeze it into the narrow doorway. Larger units need to be on the lower level and stairway and hallway need to be widened.

Was not happy about being charged an additional day of rental when I returned the trailer late. A half day would have been acceptable since the trailer was returned by 10:15PM . I will not be using this location again for my next rental.

While the service and equipment was superb, I would like a refund for the 1 dozen blankets thatI never even took out of the packaging. I should not be charged for equipment or supplies that I never used or opened. I brought this to your attention before my departure. Please issue the refund. Thank you. Otherwise, highly satisfied.
