Overall not a happy Custumer . To call a location , nobody answers the phone . It goes to cal center . First time I made arrangements to rent , told her to write it up and I’d call back in five minutes with card number . When I called back , next girl couldn’t find anything in computer . Did rental agreement again and she told me to go to address and pick up van . When I got to that address , they didn’t know anything about it and sent me to address down the street . Got there , nobody knew anything . Spent forty minutes in store before anybody even walked into the office . When I called the call center , and asked for an additional 20 miles , she said I’ll add that - no problem ! At end of rental , NOBODY knew about the additional twenty miles and I was charged extra for 17 miles overage . Plain and simple - unhappy costumer who will not rent from uhaul again until uhaul makes this right . I would also go out of my way to let anyone know how unorganized and unprofessional this organization really is . I’m waiting for uhaul to contact me and make this right 585-478-0491 mike weise

This was a first for me. I have rented trucks from uhaul many times in the past. This time I went with a van and I was blown away. POWER WINDOWS!!! A backup camera that appeared in the rearview mirror!!! Awesome air conditioning! And the van drove nicer than my car. No joke....I didn't really want to give it back.

We rented 2 15ft trucks within a 2 day period. First, we never asked for nor were told about the insurance coverage for the first rental - which we didn’t want or need. When the charge was discovered an email was sent to Jazmine alerting her to remove the charge on both rentals - 22940281. That didn’t happen. Furthermore, the gauge for fuel she told us was at 1/8 but it was slightly reading below when we got it, despite filling to same level upon return we were charged for fuel and a service charge. We were told vehicles get 10 mph, we got barely 4 and the truck was carrying only about 300lbs! Now for this return the fuel gauge was reading over and the gas was overfilled by us, did we get credit for this? NO. I mean, let’s just be fair. The trucks are not up to par in any sense. We drove 26 miles one day and barely 20 the next and were charged unfairly for the actual usage. Furthermore, if the general manager’s email is attached for customer assistance, then she should answer the emails. We asked not to be charged again for insurance on the second rental, and there was another 14.99 charge! I will report to the BBB and Corporate Office in AZ.

equipment was not returned per sechedule and was given a $50 refund for not haveing the equipment. the location assured me that there would be a check send to my home address which was on the reservation but said that they had never completed such a request but would do so the same day.. i have been billed for the subsequent rental # 22806865 but have not received the $50 check. please advise robert bowman

Was not happy with the phone suport. Nobody (4 different reps). Did not realize that the 10 foot trucks did not have a ramp to them. Tried to swap out but they could not answer if i would get charged for both.

I was given 5 locations before being able to pickup a u-haul! I also was given the wrong hours of store operations. J was told ( Pasco) all u-haul stores were open at 7:00 am. Not so.

Warning to verify mileage very closely. I ended up paying for 7 miles I didn't use. It was very busy so the agent didn't come out to check the mileage and/or condition of the truck. I read the current reading on the contract as being 77999. The actual mileage before I took it out was 78000, so I wasn't worried about it being 1 mile off. Turns out the contract actually listed the beginning mileage as 77993, so they got an extra $7.00 out of me because I wasn't careful enough and they didn't bother to come check the vehicle (because they were too busy - maybe on the busiest weekend of the year, you put a couple more people on the schedule-but no, that would cost them too much). Any way, it was only $7.00, but just a warning to others to double check everything and raise the issue immediately - whether they are too busy to help you out or not.

I did not get a call from UHaul stating that this would be the pickup location for my moving vehicle. I had requested a different location so went there first because I hadn't heard anything and was told it was actually at this location. Making sure that there is notice given to customers would be appreciated. Additionally, the 10' moving truck we got had a latch on the rear that would come undone (after being locked) every time the truck went over a bump when driving. We had to get creative at a rest stop in finding a way to tie the latch shut to make sure the lock didn't come undone. It would be helpful if the truck also came with a padlock or something to ensure that the back is closed and that all items are safe.

Customer service was absolutely awful. The associate in the morning did not do a walk around inspection with the truck, I later mentioned this and the “owner” replied saying it was because they were under staff. When I picked up the truck, there was not one customer, so I found that hard to believe. I will never use this location again. The owner is completely rude and she does not know how to talk to customers nor does she know how to use the computer system. Awful experience!

Tedana was very abrupt and almost rude the entire time I was in there. I was in there to rent a truck and a storage unit and spent an hour just to do that. The manager Jasmine tried helping Tedana with a problem and was just as rude to Tedana and Tedana was to me. Customer service skills need some serious work.

I am very disappointed at the service I received from the Henrietta U-Haul location when you reserve a truck the word Reserve means your truck should be at the location you expect it to be yet it is very very poor customer service to have a customer running all over Rochester to pick up a truck that they reserved on top of that I was sent to the wrong location from that location I was sent to another location who did not have the size truck I needed I was given a larger truck which is fine but I did not need a louder truck overall my experience on June 2nd with Uhaul was very very poor I have been using Uhaul for a very long time and I do not know if I will again use them not only do I use them but my son and my sister-in-law also regularly uses Uhaul since you have my contact information please feel free to contact me regarding this issue if I am not contact I will be contacting the corporate office thank you
