I returned the trailer to the location we texted to me but had no help and they did not even know I returned it one day early. I call the Uhaul customer service and they said that it would show up as returned later. I said that I did not want to get charged the additional dollar amount. Then 49 hours later I get an invoice for the additional twenty nine dollars. Had to call customer service and she had to start a file instead of just reversing the charge. Not acceptable customer service and not a get return location that would wait to charge he amount. By the way still NOT fixed.

I was told to drop the keys in the slot ... but the doors to the truck were not locked. I was told it makes it easier to move the truck the next day. I would have felt better had the truck been locked.

My initial poor opinion was driven by online reviews. I lowered my expectation because I had no choice at the hour I needed a rental truck to help a church get donated freezers for there food pantry. The first contact did acceptably and had me saying I lucked out. Then things went wrong. It all centered on one employee who didn't seem to care and came off a bothered and acted with no sense of urgency. I even saw him be rude to another customer so it wasn't just me. If you read the bad reviews and think they are joking believe them and save yourself the frustration. Don't go to the Michigan location if you expect good customer service from all employees. READ THE REVIEWS..

The online reservations do not take into account the needs of the customer. We did not have a truck available for the day we needed, so decided to rent the cargo van. When we arrived at the pick up time the van was not available as it was being used by someone who would return the van later that day. We rescheduled and picked up the van later, but we noticed we were provided the keys to a van that was sitting out front the entire day, even when we were there earlier. The rental process is very poor. Fix your online rental algorithms; figure out that what you are promising online is not the same as what is showing up in the store. These people were also completely rude and straight out said they do not provide good customer service there, and seemed proud of that fact. Ridiculous.

This was the first time that I had rented a U-Haul trailer. I pulled into the equipment return lane to return the trailer, assuimg that's where I would return it. The attendant opened the building's door and said, "Just take it back to where you got it." Since I brought the trailer from Kentucky, I said, "What?". He then asked me if I drove it from out of state, and when I said yes, he said, "Well, just drive it back where the others are." I'm still confused. I'm in the 'return the equipment lane'. When he noticed that I was still confused, he said, in a very condescending and impatient way, "How do you think we're going to get it back there?" I backed the trailer into the parking area where the other trailers were located, and waited for an attendant the come remove it from my car. When no one appeared, after a few minutes I walked back to the building, walked up to the attendant, apologized for not knowing how to return a trailer, and assumed he would say that he would be right out to detatch it. Again, not knowing how the return worked. He said that he would be out as soon as he was finished with the customer that was currently in the store. I returned to my car, and a different attendant walked out and disconnected the trailer with HIS HANDS. If I'd known that was possible, I would've done that myself. Anyway...I understand now that there's a process for returning trailers, but customer service with patience, kindness, and explanation would've been appreciated.

You should have the utility/motorcycle trailers available at other sites. it was quite a drive to get to this facility from where we live. There are several U-Haul facilities much closer to us, but none of them had the utility trailers.

So, your system let me rent a trailer from this location, when this location doesn't and never has rented trailers. I went in to pick it up and was notified that my pick up location was changed to a facility 40 minutes away which means I wasn't able to make my appointment with the trailer and had to cancel everything. Very poorly ran. Please DONT let anyone rent something from a location that doesn't even offer what they're wanting

The 2 Male employees were rude, one of them walked away from me at the register which lead to me waiting over 5 minutes to be helped when there was no line and the other guy parked a truck right in front behind my fiance's truck and when she asked if she could move it he insisted she had room eventhough she didn't. Not to mention the truck I was given have a fast leak in it and I had to put air in the truck 3 times during a 40 mile trip... I'm never coming here again. We'll probably go budget next time

VERY DISAPPOINTED IN UHAUL! WHEN I RESERVE 2 DOLLIES, I SHOULD GET 2 DOLLIES!! THE TRUCK WAS THE WORST ONE I HAVE EVER RENTED! IT WAS CLEAN, BUT THE STEERING WAS WAY OFF. THIS LOCATION HAS ALWAYS BEEN VERY HELPFUL IN THE PAST. I JUST CAN'T RECOMMEND UHAUL IN GENERAL ANYMORE. YOU GUYS NEED TO GET YOUR ONLINE AND LOCATION STORES IN SYNC!! I AM GOING TO PENSKE IN THE FUTURE. MUCH EASIER TO DEAL WITH AND CHEAPER!

The employee was very nice, but he was 18 minutes late. We were scheduled for a 7:00 A.M. pick-up. He did not get there until 7:18 A.M. He was knowledgeable and courteous.

Trailer pick-up took more than 45 minutes and it had already been reserved and paid for via phone. Trailer was in poor condition. No instructions regarding specific drop-off location.

Customer service on phone was bad (800) number. My pickup location changed day off and the service rep did everything but try to listen to me and accept that I did not pick that location. Was charged for two days, only used the truck for 24 hours. Over charged and bad service.

The inside windshield was dirty. The workers didn't want to show me to the vehicle. I jad to guess which vehicle I had. Telling someone the general direction and having 3 vehicles to choose from is not very customer friendly.

Did online check-in but it still took almost an hour to get equipment and there were only two people in front of me. Truck windshield was dirty and poorly maintained. With 160,000 miles the steering was loose and shaky and the suspension was almost none existent. Will not rent from this location again and will try Budget next time for the equipment.

Cargo van was incorrectly booked for one day rather than two. In hindsight, I'm not sure if I got the better deal. $19.95 times two plus the 557 miles might have been cheaper than what I was charged.
