Allow for partial checkins before getting to the lot to save time. I had to enter information multiple times.Jonathan K.
The suspension on the trucks need work - it was clean but a very bumpy ride compared to Penskejohn B.
The lot is very congested. Many close parked cars. Hard to maneuver large truck around. The truck was junk. Not road worthy. The truck started and hard extremely loud power steering pump noise. The exhaust was leaking. The truck shakes at speed. The steering wheels vibrates a lot! The driver side window vibrates and knocks from all the vibration of the truck. This truck needs to be retired or fixed before anyone else gets behind the wheel. I am extremely disappointed, for paying to rent a truck and receiving such poor quality experience. I cannot imagine being assigned this truck for a long distance move. Dangerous! Used the 24/7 pickup and was unable to request a different truck. I do not recommend. I was let down because I had good experience in the past.Vlad M.

Before hours (closed) pick up. NONE of the moving accessories on the order were provided (appliance dolly, furniture dolly, pads), causing us a 100 minute delay waiting for an alternate UHaul location to open. We found a replacement appliance dolly and pads,, but still had to pay for it (again)! We never got a furniture dolly. Also, the pickup location was changed without our knowledge. This an extremely frustrating thing to find out in the dark at 7am on a holiday morning.... unacceptable. It would've been simple to notify us of the change. UHaul certainly knows how to reach us, as we received a pile of marketing emails over the last week (since reserving). Additionally, the truck ramp was in poor operating condition. It took two professional movers to get it back working correctly. The only thing positive about this rental experience was the excellent moving labor, which was a 3rd party booked via UHaul. Next time we move, we'll book labor directly with them and will find another rental provider. We are extremely disappointed with UHaul for many reasons.Kent M.

When filling up with gas for the first time after getting truck, I noticed the inside driver's side back tire was low in air. The tire would not take air. Upon further inspection, the tire had a hole in the side wall. Turns out the outside tire next to the tire with the hole was bald. I was driving the truck one way over 1,000 miles! My concern after this experience is that some of the smaller â€œmom & popâ€ locations do not inspect their equipment before releasing it to the customer. They are more concerned about just making money and not the safety of the customer. For the future, I will go to the official UHaul Moving & Storage locations. I am and will continue to be a loyal customer. The truck should be inspected before releasing to customer. The truck inside the back was not cleaned out. Would not give me a paper contract. I will have to give them credit for their customer care. I had to cancel my reservation (upon arrival due to not knowing about the 2 in ball). I was upset when I left. Found a ball, and went back to them (without calling or scheduling another reservation). They immediately jumped into action to make sure the same trailer was available . Even with their busy schedule they made time for me AFTER I CANCELED!!! That was very impressive to me.angie G.
The after hours return process did not work for me on Sunday evening or Monday morning. I had to call U-Haul 800 number to get assistance Che Koning the trailer in to prevent me making a third trip to the locationROGER N.
I told the store manager I would be returning the trailer after hours and he said to just drop it where I found it and I was good to go. I returned it at 6:00pm, 2hrs ahead of my return deadline exactly where I picked it up. The next morning I got an email that they charged me for 2 full days plus a $20 fee for returning it after hours ($102.25 instead of the original $40 something for my 8hr rental). They ended up removing the 2nd day charge, but wouldn't budge on the $20 fee even though they said all I had to do was drop the trailer where I found it. I was apparently to fill out an online after hours return form that was posted on a small sign on the side of the building exterior, but they made no mention of that during the rental process. The workers there were polite and professional but I felt it was ridiculous to charge the fee when I had photographed evidence of my return time and they had security cameras that could have also verified it. I'll definitely not rent from that location again.Hayden M.

Trailers were sitting in a dry, grassy field. Called the business to verify my rental was returned properly as I did my return online but had not received an email confirmation and the representative at the business never called me back.Greg M.
