The cab of the truck smelled horrible. Like someone went to the bathroom in it. The oil in the truck needs to be changed.
When filling up with gas for the first time after getting truck, I noticed the inside driver's side back tire was low in air. The tire would not take air. Upon further inspection, the tire had a hole in the side wall. Turns out the outside tire next to the tire with the hole was bald. I was driving the truck one way over 1,000 miles! My concern after this experience is that some of the smaller â€œmom & popâ€ locations do not inspect their equipment before releasing it to the customer. They are more concerned about just making money and not the safety of the customer. For the future, I will go to the official UHaul Moving & Storage locations. I am and will continue to be a loyal customer. The truck should be inspected before releasing to customer. The truck inside the back was not cleaned out. Would not give me a paper contract. Only sent contract by email.

I dropped the truck off at 10:00am, building locked, no one there.
I will have to give them credit for their customer care. I had to cancel my reservation (upon arrival due to not knowing about the 2 in ball). I was upset when I left. Found a ball, and went back to them (without calling or scheduling another reservation). They immediately jumped into action to make sure the same trailer was available . Even with their busy schedule they made time for me AFTER I CANCELED!!! That was very impressive to me.
The after hours return process did not work for me on Sunday evening or Monday morning. I had to call U-Haul 800 number to get assistance Che Koning the trailer in to prevent me making a third trip to the location
I told the store manager I would be returning the trailer after hours and he said to just drop it where I found it and I was good to go. I returned it at 6:00pm, 2hrs ahead of my return deadline exactly where I picked it up. The next morning I got an email that they charged me for 2 full days plus a $20 fee for returning it after hours ($102.25 instead of the original $40 something for my 8hr rental). They ended up removing the 2nd day charge, but wouldn't budge on the $20 fee even though they said all I had to do was drop the trailer where I found it. I was apparently to fill out an online after hours return form that was posted on a small sign on the side of the building exterior, but they made no mention of that during the rental process. The workers there were polite and professional but I felt it was ridiculous to charge the fee when I had photographed evidence of my return time and they had security cameras that could have also verified it. I'll definitely not rent from that location again.
The charge for this rental to drive around locally is outrageous.
Trailers were sitting in a dry, grassy field. Called the business to verify my rental was returned properly as I did my return online but had not received an email confirmation and the representative at the business never called me back.
I rented a 6' X12' that was not at this location I had to wait an hour for the place to open. Supposed to open at 0800 and did not till 0900. I had to take a 5' X 8' and had to make it work by over packing.
Location was not opened on time and the person who had to rent equipment had to be called so I could pick up took over an hour to complete all
I was instructed to use the contact less return method. I was concerned when my phone's low memory did not upload the pictures. However, I took the pictures as best that I could.

Why did my email address go out to all these insurance companies? Right after I rented your truck I get slammed with insurance offers.
Everything had to be done online. Had to call multiple times to get someone from another location to help because the location manager where I picked up the truck was not answering his phone. I was charged multiple times before even returning the truck. Was promised a refund of one of the charges, only received a partial refund. Very poor service from this location.
I didn't need the truck the whole time that I thought. I picked it up at 10:58 on Monday and returned at 12:10 on Tuesday. I don't think I should have been charged a full day rental for the extra hour and a half. I'm not saying that I shouldn't pay something but I think it's a little ridiculous to charge me the full days rental for an hour and a half late.
Be upfront about the full details of what you will be charged, I had the truck @ a rate of 29.95, drove 16 miles,when i dropped off I ended up paying almost $100...a complete rip off, but the truck was clean and drove well! I would rather research all choices before I choose this type of service again...much different from my quote at booking!! More like an overhaul!

I had a ton of problems with checking in and out. The owner of the store was late. Once out it was fine. I had problems with the app checking out but finally got it.
