The Hubbards location was not so great. I returned the vehicle there after only 3 rental hours. At that time I was told no U-Haul personnel were on site, that their day ended at 1:00. I had checked online and those limited hours did not show up. 8:00 pm was the advertised closing time. There was no mention of a penalty to me. The next morning I was there at 7:00 am to hand over the keys. I was informed that because the mileage and gas info was not left when I dropped off the vehicle, I could be charged for an additional day, though I was still within the 24 hour rental time, even then. It was just not pleasant and I said I'd be lodging a dispute were I charged additional fees. The person complained that it was 7:00 in the morning and I told her I was reasonable and wasn't trying to be difficult. I told her I'd put 50.00 worth of gas in the vehicle for 101 km that I used the vehicle.It had been below 3/4 tank when I picked it up. Then she became more professional though things still ended up with me leaving without any information about totals and charges. I was very uneasy. In the end she did get Internet to deal with this, but it was after I left. So Western Shore was awesome and helpful. But really I would rate Hubbards as Below Average because not only the lack of clarity, but how she made me feel I did something wrong. A bother. It comes down to customer service. Western Shore was awesome. He did all his other customer work around me and never appeared ruffled. Was always pleasant and helpful.

Honestly t was a pain from the get go. The truck we were given had a check engine light and couldn't reverse. We were charged for safe move because the representative couldn't turn it off so we paid more than we should have. Needing a new truck I had to call and organize and we were over an hour late getting this sorted. In the end we paid extra for miles we didn't actual drive, gas that was incorrect, and I spent half an hour while returning the truck today dealing with this and we still were charged more than we should have.
