The gentleman who took care of me was excellent, the vehicle was nice, the MI charge of $17.and change was unexpected. I think when reserving a U-Haul it shouldn’t be stated $19.99 when it’s really more like $38. Honesty and no hidden fees Would be better business.

I was stopped by a county sheriff on Easter Sunday because the signal lights were reversed, i.e., when the vehicle was signaling LEFT the RIGHT trailer single activated. We determined that the trailer had the yellow and green wires reversed someplace in the trailer wiring. Additionally, we verified the issue by powering the YELLOW wire and seeing that the RIGHT signal activated, and the GREEN wire activated the LEFT signal. As the wiring looked new someone should check their work better. The sheriff helped me reverse the wiring on a 4-wire extender to correct the problem. And as long as I fixed the problem in his presence, no ticket was issued. I've pulled several trailers with this vehicle with no problems in the past so I know that the problem was with the trailer. I've rated the pick up location as below average because, while I don't know that they were responsible for the problem, they should have done a better job checking it out before rental.

Be much more organized... Be sure to have equipment available at the location the person registers from. Phone call or email would have been nice to let me know my location to pick up the trailer was different. The dolly that I also ordered was with the trailer.
