The Lady in the office to left when walking in was very rude. I don’t know what her problem is. She asked me for secondary number she “ stated she needed because I might decide not to bring the trailer back as if I was going to steal it!! Maybe she had some issues but she need to leave that out of work place. Did not offer any help to hook up the trailer or anything. The trailer tow straps were broken. I came back in and told another lady who work in office when you first walk in. She was very professional and polite and asked if I need help hooking up and etc. I just recently retired from military and doing a move. I will go today and rent a cargo trailer if I have to deal with same lady again I will somewhere else. I wish I know her name. Only reason I would recommend this place is because of the other lady.

Have some one to answer phone when calling to confirm rental / pickup. Spent 2 days calling office to include calling over 3 times right before driving up to get it. But the lady in office was prompt, friendly and helpful. Great service help hooking up too.

My overall experience was horrible. Not with the location where I picked up the truck nor with the location where I dropped it off. The whole reservation system failed today. I reserved a truck at the Climate Controlled Storage was accepted. I received a call days later that there were no trucks available and they moved me to 404 Frasier. When I went to pick up the truck today the building was locked and the key box could not be accessed because the Uhaul application didn't send the code and the Uhaul representative didn't know how to access the system to get the code. I was then told to go to 1439 W.Oglethorpe to get a truck and was told that the truck would be ready for me when I got there. When I arrived I was told by the owner of the convenience store that the U-Haul system was down and I couldn't get a truck. I called back to the U-Haul representative and told them of the situation who then told me to go to now back to the climate controlled storage facility to get a 15ft truck after I reserved a 10ft truck. When I arrived at climate controlled storage I was informed by the associate there that there were no trucks available. The associate that was working there call back to the U-Haul representative informed them that there were no trucks available but ended up somehow getting me a 26-foot truck. the three times that I called the U-Haul customer service line not once was I told that they were sorry for the inconvenience, sorry for the mix-up, we apologize, not once. The only saving grace from me completely losing it was the associate at the Climate Controlled storage. she was even more upset about the whole situation than I was but still took care of me and apologized. She told me her name but of course I forgot. I needed a truck today because I am recently divorced and had a court issued mandate to meet my ex and hinesville pd to pick up all of my items from my home. I was an hour late and made everyone there have to wait. I am sure that I will hear something Monday from the Judge regarding this.

I was charged fuel when I fill truck back up to fuel level! Can’t belive this,I drove it 12 miles and then put gas back where it was. I was charged $17. No happy about being charged and filling it up! 423-293-1611

I have an issue the person i spoke with at this location when i picked up the trailer told me it was 98 for the 5 days including the safe tow. I return it and then get charged more money. I wouldn't recommend because they dont inform you fully of what they will charge you when you aren't there. I'm sorry but if i sign something and ask to verify multiple times thats all i'm being charged I shouldn't have to worry they will charge me more when they see fit.

My card was charged 3 times for 3 different amounts. When I contacted the location I was given the run around when I called the 800 number I've experienced long hold times and no resolution. They had no problem taking my money but it's like pulling teeth trying to get my missing money back and messed me up trying to take off my children. I am very displeased and extremely irritated. Would not recommend these service to anyone ever.

Not one person inspected the equipment when I dropped it off. NOR did they tell me where to leave it or helped me detach it from my vehicle. I ended up leaving it in a parking lot and a random kind stranger helped me detach it from my vehicle. I rented a car tow hauler.

FIRST OF ALL, I'D LIKE TO COMMEND ALLISON, THE ASSOCIATE WHO MADE THE RESERVATION FOR ME AND ANSWERED MY ALL QUESTIONS CONCERNING MY RESERVATION; DIFFERENT VEHICLES; AND PRICES ASSOCIATED WITH THEM. I WOULD LIKE TO RAISE ONE ISSUE THAT WAS DUE TO ME NOT TAKING THE TIME TO READ THE PAMPHLET THAT CAME ALONG WITH MY RENTAL CONTRACT. AFTER RETURNING THE VAN (AFTER HOURS) I RENTED (WHICH WAS NEW), I TOOK A PICTURE OF THE MILEAGE AND GAS LEVEL; THEN LOCKED THE VEHICLE AND DEPOSITED THE KEY IN A LOCK BOX AT THE U-HAUL OFFICE. IT WAS THEN THAT I LEARNED, AFTER LOGGING ON TO THE U-HAUL WEBSITE, THAT I SHOULD HAVE TAKEN THE PICTURE WHILE I WAS CONNECTED TO THE WEBSITE AND BEFORE TURNING IN THE KEYS. I WAS NOT ABLE TO ATTACH THE PICTURE I TOOK SO I WAS NOT ABLE TO COMPLETE THE TURN IN PROCESS. RATHER, I CONTACTED A LIVE CHAT AGENT AND SHE (CATRINA) WAS ABLE TO ATTACH A MESSAGE TO MY RENTAL CONTRACT FOR WHEN THE LOCAL U-HAUL BUSINESS OPENED THIS MORNING. FOR THE FUTURE U-HAUL RENTER, MAKE CERTAIN YOU UNDERSTAND THE AFTER HOURS TURN IN PROCESS BEFORE YOU PLACE THE RENTAL VEHICLE KEYS IN THE KEY RETURN BOX. IN CLOSING, I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE VAN I RENTED. THE BACK UP CAMERA WAS PRICELESS; THE VEHICLE HANDLED WELL AND HAD PLENTY OF ROOM. THE SEATS WERE MORE COMFORTABLE THAN I THOUGHT THEY WOULD BE.

Absolutely the worst experience ever. Do the paperwork grab the car dolly and off you go. After asking about inspecting the equipment, I was told “the equipment is always inspected and serviced so there are no problems.” As a mechanic and electrician I spent nearly 8 hours fixing U-Haul crap. Ungrounded outlets improper wiring, just garbage. When we called all responses was it’s your vehicle. Nope not my vehicle. Your garbage. Thank you for a horrible experience and I will ensure everyone at fort Stewart knows about you awesome equipment and customer service.

I dropped the keys off with a lady she took them and said she would email a receipt in about a hour. She didn’t. Also I didn’t go over my mileage I payed for and didn’t get a refund yet. So I don’t know if she inspected the truck because she didn’t do it while I was there.

They did not give me the truck I order. I had to go to another location to pick up another truck. I did not get the discount I was supposed to. I asked for a 26 foot truck. They end up giving me a 20 foot truck. I was not at all happy with my service. I will really think twice about ordering with your service again.
