Troubling that I had to drive 25 miles 1 way to get the trailer. Then I had to wait 45 minutes for the right person to get to work so I could get the trailer. The idea that I didn't know where I would have to go get the trailer until the day before I could pick the trailer up was unacceptable. Someone called and left a message where to go and who to call. They never answered when I called them back.
Well I was quoted one price and then charged two different prices so I am very upset about that and we complained when we dropped off the truck but they said that they had to send the complaint to where we picked up the truck and I haven't heard from anyone since!
I would have wanted to get more assistance with a drop off location.

The Pick-up Location had no idea that I had a reservation, they just happened to show up to open their other business for the day. The employee present didn't know how to process the rental, so I had to go back online and complete the rental process without their participation. My truck had no heat. I drove in snow and sleet and temps in the low 30's all day. I was unable to defrost the windshield and had to pull over often to keep it safe for driving.
We put down a cash deposit and we're unable to get it back day of drop off. The have to mail a check

Super Nice people. Couldn't say enough about them. But unfortunately, they were unprepared for the issues that arose. There was no electrical adapter for the trailer. Lights didn't work so I personally had to go to the auto store and buy fuses to fix the fuse box myself. Uhaul was a pain to work with and wouldn't listen to Lisa, the store owner. Truck was not clean inside and there was sticky stuff all over the seats. Melted gummies on the floor. I went to pick up the truck with enough time to beat a storm that was coming but by the time I actually left the location, I had been there for just about 6 hours. I paid to have the truck for 5 days yet I ended up being able to use the truck for only 4 because I had to buy parts for the truck and fix it myself and then deal with uhaul. Ultimately, I didn't beat the storm and couldn't do anything with the truck for more than 24 hours. This was a pain and put me way behind schedule. I am military and had required time frames to hit so then I had to try and make contact with my new base in order to explain that I wasnt going to make it on time. That was a whole issue of its own. Overall, it was a terrible experience. I am currently disputing the charge. I never would have paid $2000 when I arrived if I knew that I wasn't going to get what I paid for. Uhaul said they can't help me and that I need to make contact with the contracted store. I have called them twice now and have yet to hear back. At this point, I would NEVER recommend uhaul to any of my family, friends, or military colleagues.
They took my keys, didn't look at the truck or look at the gas or the milage. Maybe they are just trusting. I left the truck as expected on the contract.
Had my uhaul reserved and already paid for. The town it was supposed to be in didn't have it so had to drive 30 min to another town to get it. Upon arrival to pick it up they said they couldn't complete the transaction that way and had to cancel it and start all over which incurred a double charge to my account. They never done a walk around to check the equipment, didn't give me a pamphlet or a print out on anything. Didnt have stickers to annotate damage already on uhaul. Not 10 miles into our trip our car hauler had a blowout and we were stuck on the side of a busy 2 lane road for an hour and a half in 106 degree heat index waiting on roadside assistance. Not happy at all and really dont want to use uhaul again because of this horrible experience.
Only issue was the key drop off box was inside a locked door. Leaving the key after hours was not convenience.

The return location was cluttered and somewhat unkempt. We were told the trailer should be returned clean but no one came to check the inside, rather the attendant said we were good to leave.

Reserved trailer through Jana in carrollton, since she didn't have what I needed she checked and found one in higginsville, mo. Jana reserved one for me, I called higginsville to confirm the reservation.the lady I talked to said yes it was reserved. She asked if I would pick it up on Friday. I told her it would be Friday late afternoon or Saturday morning . ( my husband is a truck driver wasnt sure when he would be home) she said ok she would note it and it WOULD still be reserved for Saturday. When I got to higginsville " Jeremy" the worker there didn't know where to find my reservation. He call the lady and even tried to call some bob guy.. By this time it is after noon I had been there over 30 minutes already. I tried to get my son to reserve it over the phone he couldn't because it told him the tire shop in higginsville was closed ( this was after we found out my reservation had been canceled) After SEVERAL calls to the 800 number Debbie and Rachael were able to get one reserved for me(3 HOURS LATER) yes 3 hours!!!!! Took the trailer back to Gary in shell rock Iowa and at least he was awesome and knew what he needed to do..Would I rent from uhaul again , I can honestly say I don't know since there are other rental companies out there , but I do know. I WILL NEVER DEAL WITH HIGGINSVILLE AGAIN. Jeremy tried but he wasnt trained. Higginsville experience was horrible!!!!!! Should not have taken 3 hours!!!!????
Place was locked so we left the key in the box.
We rented twice. Both times the lady charged us wrong and didn't know what the price needed to be. The second time she wanted me to call customer service because"it works better just in case you had questions" . We had to move other trailers by ourselves to get to the one we needed, then had to hook it up ourselves. They did not inspect it or anything. I'm very disappointed.
Have more helpful and courteous call center employees.
