Best U-Haul experience I've ever had! Thank you!
You/U haul can PLEASE work on your system issues, PU App and overall customer service!! this was by far the most disappointing, frustrating and overall reservation I ever places with U haul. I've been renting your and purchasing your products for over 20 years now and to have to go through a 45 minute process of ridiculous hoops in adjusting/changing, calling, texting, verifying I felt like a criminal that was on probation with u Haul and trying to earn my rights back to rent instead a long time loyal customer that has never violated any policy or returned damaged or late vehicles. If the kind couple at this location hadn't went above and beyond to assist me I absolutely would have given up on the frustrating process, cancelled the truck and would not have accomplished the purpose of renting the truck for the day. As a Company, any employee having issues with a system with a paying customer in front of them asking for assistance should not have to justify another call to request help.....Your system is the cause of the issue the customer is having with reservation so making it more difficult for the vendor only makes it more difficult for your customer! IF you don't know this.....this isn't the best way to retain customers. My sincere appreciation to the couple who operate this U Haul location, their patience, kindness and overall helpful attitude made this fiasco tolerable. PLEASE fix your systems and work on your database, this shouldn't be such a miserable process. Thank You, Cindy Vallette
Make sure the gas tank is filled. When i hot the keys through the 24/7 on line app, i found the gas tank was 1/4 full. I had to fill it twice, once before I could use the truck and after i was finished so that the truck was returned full. No reimbursement was offered for the empty tank.
Really close to home and super easy.
Had a very difficult time picking up the truck. Your system is to confusing.
I returned the truck with the gas gauge same as when picked up yet still was overcharged for gas.
Terrible customer service and the office was not open at 10am as it was advertised. We waited until 11am to pick up the truck.
The truck was out of gas, the person that was supposed to be there for my appointment was out on a guided tour as the guide.. Appears they do this as a business model, tell the u-haul customer to use the automated application to do online pickup even though they had an appointment.. If I wanted to do that I would have, and not worried about an appointment my self.. I blocked out that time and had to race across town to make that time to find out they never planed on being there really pissed me off. Then dropping off the truck there was no one to give me a receipt just some guy taking the key and I have to hope he even works there LOL. I will not use that site again.
Blankets & dolly weren't received. Location was closed during normal business hours. Location manager had a bad attitude..
My reservation was changed at the last minute. The lady at Above All ATV called me and was VERY rude to me. I told her she was being rude and that it was U-Haul that had changed my reservation. They did not do a walk around to explain the vehicle to us. The check engine light came on on the way home. We stopped at a U-Haul repair station and they told us to keep driving but it would run rough and use a lot of gas. It cost me $450.00 in fuel just to get half way home after the light came on.
Have clear instructions, a marked place to leave the truck, someone to help answer questions, a place to leave rented items
I think the only pain was the setup on the app. Otherwise I hope I don't have to go thru it again as a repeated customer. Also, what ifmy insurance covers rentals? Why would I be forced to purchase your product?
They weren't there, and the location was closed, even though the hours were listed as open. No dropbox for keys. Huge hassle to return the truck.
STAY AWAY! Returning a U-Haul trailer and heading 400 miles home after helping my son move. Upon arrival the gate was blocked with 2 trailers loaded with ATV's. The worker told me to come back, but that was not an option. He said they were abouSTAY AWAY! Returning a U-Haul trailer and heading 400 miles home after helping my son move. Upon arrival the gate was blocked with 2 trailers loaded with ATV's. The worker told me to come back, but that was not an option. He said they were about to do an ATV tour and there was no where to park and they "were leaving" (it was 11:45 am on a Monday). He then asked if I "knew how to back up" to drop the trailer in a small area out front, which would have involved me pulling in front of 2 lanes of busy traffic. The owner then pulled up with the vans and yelled at the worker, in front of me, several comments which included "what is he doing here?", "tell him to come back", tell him we are leaving." You get the idea. I also suggested I drop the trailer in an empty parking lot next door, but he again told me they were "leaving." This whole time I was blocking a turn lane into the business on the road. I finally told the worker the only option was to drop the trailer in the turn lane and he would have to deal with moving it, as he had already told me he had a fork lift, which is what I did. The owner Kim was totally unprofessional and rude and obviously shows no interest or loyalty to the U-Haul side of her business. U-Haul should drop her as a dealership, IMHO..
My reservation was changed to this location last minute, could not speak with someone to confirm 20ft truck would be available. Customer service headquarters confirmed there would be yet only 15ft trucks were there when I arrived to pick up. I had to rent an additional pick up truck to haul my couch and several other items.
The equipment is in a good condition

The rental pick up location on this survey is wrong. The pick up location is 160 W Craig Rd North Las Vegas, NV 89032. I am disappointed and will not consider U-haul for truck rentals in the future. If I reserve a 26' truck I expect to receive that size. I was told more trucks would be delivered at that location which didn't happen. Overall I'm not pleased with U-Haul.
Picked up my trailer at a watercraft rental place not a standard U-Haul dealership. The lights were never checked and later found out they didn't work. Found another U-Haul location that was open late, although they didn't have a certified electrical person on hand, they gave good customer service. They did let me use their tools to fix the problem.
I had to make an exact time to pick up the trailer because they wanted to schedule a tour. I had another appointment that morning and could not guarantee when I would be finished so I had to adjust my schedule.
the m/c trailer I received was 34 yrs old...the trailer wiring shorted out 2 fuses on my truck.. I wouldn't put a bicycle on that trailer. I was referred to the UHaul rental at 1098 Stephanie Pl. they were great gave me a new trailer and gave great service. they also agreed that old trailer should not have been on the road.
