We were told we could drop off before 7, got there at 6:15 it was closed. Call they just unhook and leave in the parking lot. Poor!!

We were towing a car and were told by uhaul the straps and chains would be released by uhaul in Utah and that we should not do it ourselves. At uhaul in Heber City Utah we were told they do not disengage the straps and chains and we would have to figure it out.

We were told uhaul would attach and remove our tow vehicle. They advised us not to touch it ourselves. When we arrived at Heber City we were told that they do not remove tow vehicles, so we had to figure it out.

The customer service was fantastic. I got lost on the way and called Tracy's and they explained how to find the location. Kind and friendly and greeted me with a smile. I would use this U-Haul location again if needed. 5 Star rating.

Personnel was not on the premises during scheduled open hours. We had to wait an additional half hour which is not fun after driving 14 hours in a 26 ft Uhaul. Not the end of the world, but slightly frustrating.

Sign on door said they would be back by 1:00. They didn't return until nearly 1:30. We had to wait, which after driving 14 hours was the last thing we wanted to do. Not the end of the world, but might be better to have someone in the office during scheduled open hours.

The customer service left something to be desired; when returning my rental, another man was also returning his. It was the end of business hours, but I watched them close the gate right on this man’s face. When we had trouble unhitching our rental and asked for help, the Uhaul representative huffed, mumbled under his breath, and treated us like we were completely stupid. Which, to some extent, we were! We’re not regularly hitching things up to our car, which is why we were renting something in the first place. You’d hope that would generate sympathy, rather than derision.

I reserved (and was charged for) a hand-truck but it was not available when I arrived. Facility was closed, no staff on Sunday, so no way to rectify, made the move more difficult.

When I called to ask about returning the trailer the recording told me not to just leave the equipment, but the agent on the phone told me to just leave the trailer unsecured and not checked in and that they'll get it when the store opens. To me, that it would very irresponsible and negligent to leave equipment unsecured without checking it in. Also her advise contradicted what the recording said.

I accidentally got charged for roadside insurance. I didn't enter it on my express checkout, and I didn't check for it on the final paperwork (which was electronic). but the gal who usually does the checkout wasn't there and the guy who was there was having a fair bit of trouble with the UHaul software. Anyhow, I feel like I got ripped off for $40. I've rented four or five times from UHaul this past year and NEVER bought this over-priced insurance.
