The initial employee hoping me rent didnt know how to do the paperwork. However everyone was nice and the process went smoothly.

The original reservation was at Hayward for which I checked in , but by the time I arrived at the location, the rep was very rude and told me that I am 16 min late so they dont have my reservation. She was very rude.

I used both the storage and rent a van facilities; the staff deserves a raise and a cocktail party; they are incredibly helpful, generous, courteous and with positive attitude; I am sorry I don’t have a complete list of all their names but each and everyone of them are truly exceptional! UHAUL is very lucky to have such a hard working staff! Please note that this is specific to the W Winton Ave facilities.

The driver was excellent. The phone staff was a nightmare. She was unresponsive, dictatorial, and inflexible. She was rude. But the drivers were excellent. The delivery driver was particularly excellent. However, again, the staff on the phone was grossly ridiculously arbitrary and determined not to be helpful.

Everything was handled well, and the Ubox made it to my destination on time, with no damage to the contents.The only thing I did not appreciate is this - when I was setting this all up on the phone with the UHaul people, I was quoted a price for bringing the Ubox to my apartment, 2 guys unloading it, and then the 2 guys bringing the Ubox and the trailer back to the UHaul storage location. Well all that happened, but the price I paid was over $100 more than the quote. So maybe the guy on the phone didn't really know the correct price, or maybe some training is in order.

Uhaul sent me an automated text message saying that my container was "due" back at noon or I'd get charged a late fee, but I had a pickup scheduled that day between 8-4pm so it was a little confusing. Check in on your automated systems to make sure they are not misfiring. Loved my experience overall. Thank you!!

I was given different information as far as pricing when I called the 1-800 number on 3 different occasions. I was also given misleading information about where I could send my box and if I could change where I could send it while in storage. Apparently this is a very common problem. Also after I returned the UBox container I was still charged for the container a month later even though my box was empty. I spent way more money outside of my budget because of the misinformation. I would not recommend anyone to get a UBox after my experience. I would actually consider spending more money with PODS to avoid the headache.

My issue is with U-Haul's central support, not the site itself. I made an appointment to have my box delivered well over a week prior to my requested date. I confirmed with U-haul the night before that my goods would be delivered between 12-6 on Friday 09/27. I had a bad feeling, so I called the site on 09/27 to confirm that the delivery was going to happen. There was no record of it. It took 6 phone calls and U-haul hiring a 3rd party to deliver my box to make it happen. All in all it was a horrible customer experience and as a result, I will never do business with U-haul again.

for the most part, the people were fine, it was the system which kept making a mess of things. I spent way too much time trying to convince UHaul that i was right as to my delivery date at destination and then they still did not deliver on time. Overall i would rate my experience a ONE out of TEN

We had road work on our street that made timely delivery and pick up difficult. We had to postpone and delay several times. When we finally settled on a date THursday May 2, the trailer was not removed until May 6th. I do not blame the crew as it was a difficult job, but it is better to be more realistic about the pick up time. They ended up coming up on Sunday evening at dusk. IT took time, but they got the job done.

Alfonzo at the pickup location was very good to work with. My problem was with the truck, it was old and not in good mechanical condition. The steering was very loose and felt dangerous to drive. Also U-Haul needs to get trucks with better seats, my butt is killing me form sitting in the one in the truck I had all day.

The Refridgerator dolly and regular dolly I needed on my order were not available.I had to rent them from someone else Uhaul should make sure they actually have the equipment prior to the customers arrival

Have a line for pick up truck only, and another line for accessories such as boxes, tapes, cough covers, bubble wrap etc. The customers shouldnt have to stay in line for 20 mins or more.
