For the most part, the truck was not a complete mess when I picked it up. However, it was on the way back to my house that I noticed there were fake nails on the driver seat and floor, an empty bag of chips on the dash on the passenger side, as well as Chick-fil-let trash behind the driver seat. Although I did clean it up, I shouldn't have had to. I sure this was just a small oversight by those managing the location and I wouldn't 'not' recommend them. But, better attention to detail would have meant that I wouldn't have wondered why the seat was itching my leg so badly. Yeah... someone's discarded fake fingernail was the culprit.

The time it took to rent the u haul was ridiculous. The rep did not seem to understand the computer system. After getting everything printed, we had to wait for customers who were shopping, purchasing food etc. Because there is only one person working who has to lock down the store to come and walk out to the u haul to inspect the vehicle. To top it off, we had until 8pm to bring the truck back. They closed early. I called and was told that since they closed early, bring the truck back by 12noon. Arrived to return the truck, the doors were locked. So I went back home. Called the store repeatedly. Finally get the truck back and get told that I am being charged for an additional day and five miles overage but they closed early and left the store the next day. Both causing late return and mileage overage. Then to say that they have to charge because u haul is going to ask why was the truck back so late. I said tell uhaul the truth or is this a tactic used to get more money from unsuspecting customers. I will NEVER use this location again.

The person running the store was very friendly. I was upset that I booked a U-haul location on-line at 532 East Mercury Blvd 1.0 miles from step-son's house. Instead I find out that the location is over 8 miles away at 5011 West Mercury Blvd and I am getting charged 0.99 cents both ways. I do not think I will ever reserve online again. I was also upset that once we got the U-haul 10 foot truck, there was no ramp help move our washing machine!

Make sure you have the rentals for the customers reservations AnD not double book and make your customers run to 3 different locations for pickup and charge extra mileage for the inconvenience of your customers

Drop off was a parking lot with a lock box outside of a strip mall. It was efficient as there was a dumpster, parking lot was clean but I would not call it inviting.

This has nothing to do with the pick up location, however, I reserved to pick it up at a location much closer to my house and was notified the day before pick up that it has been moved down to this location. That is a U-Haul issue not this pick up locations issue. The lady at the pick up location was wonderful and very helpful but it was inconvenient for me to have to go further than anticipated.

Horrible experience at original pick up place. Was sent to second location with no address and no indication that it was in an unrelated store. Tameka did not stop eating her muffin for the entire time she did not really help me. Bad, bad, bad!

I was not told of the pickup change location for my reservation until after I showed up to the original place and they told me they were closed. When I called the main number the people were rude and not very helpful. Once I got the new rental pickup location the lady was frustrated that she had to keep repeating herself and that I had questions about. Y rental. I will never use this service again.

I caught a ride to the location. The truck was not ready at 4pm. I picked up truck around 7-ish, I think after receiving a call saying that the truck was back. The tire light was on indicating a lack of air. I called inside the store. Owner said it was fine even though I could see that the tire was low. Someone from a previous use left an orange shirt inside. So, I don't think it was cleaned. When I returned the truck, owner tried to charge me for two days even thought my original reservation was for 24 hours from 4-4. Since they didn't have a truck ready for me until about three hours later, I should not have returned the truck until around 7. It was hard to understand the gentleman at the register due to his accent. I rented a truck for $19.99 per day but ended up paying $70+. I made my original reservation so that the truck would only be at Ace Hardware which was only 1mile from my school and 2 miles from my house. My school held a yard sale, and by the time I put gas in the truck and paid for mileage, the money I made at the school's yard sale went to Uhaul. I was not notified that there was no 10ft truck available at Ace Hardware until too late. Had I had revived an earlier notice, I would have gone with another company or cancelled the reservation. I'm so disappointed in this experience. I have used Uhaul many times before.
