Very inconvenient, I was driving all over Hamilton and Stoney Creek to pick up uhaul and drop off uhaul . Very disappointed

When we went to drop off the truck, the employee said we could not drop it off here because it isn't in his system. He said I had to call uhaul, even though I had the paper work stating the drop of location was where we were. I refused to call them, so he did. Apparently our key tag did not match the truck #--how did we know this? I think there needs to be a line in huge letters to make the customer aware that these need to match. The title "equipment " means nothing to a customer, and I think this needs to be reinforced to the uhaul representative at the renting end.

Was not the original location that I requested. The furniture dolly that I had ordered was not at the store or on the truck. I had to go to a different location to pick it up despite talking to 2 different uhaul employees on the phone who said it would be there. The store also seemed ill equipped to handle uhaul orders because of the size of the gas station. Basically, if you are picking up a truck from anywhere that isn't an actual uhaul store, I recommend you change your pick up location (but there is no guarantee that you will get the one you ask for because it is just a "preference")

The breaks were terrible only way to stop the Uhaul was to pump the breaks.... Overall experience another bad one... Next move won't be with Uhaul. I'll go budget or enterprise

1) Van interior not cleaned - needed to be swept out and wood removed) 2) No walk around inspection with attendant - I had to point out prior damage before leaving lot and did not receive any confirmation of this walk around but one was performed upon my return ! 3) This is the second satellite location in my area that I have rented from , the other being Anytime Foodmart 180 Queen St. South, and both times I have experienced the same problems at each location ! From now on if I rent from U - haul it will be at the Upper Wellington location where I have rented before with no problems except it is just a little out of the way. The other two locations are within walking distance but Upper Wellington requires a car and there is very little and limited parking in that area.

There was only one attendant who was inundated with gas purchases while I waited & waited. This was after the truck I was to pick up at another location had a leak in the roof. The location was hard to find & the truck was parked in a very small area behind the Shell station. I had difficulty getting out.

There was a mistake made with our original booking. There are no 24' trucks in Canada and the personal on the phone did not realize this.

Due to an error made online (made by the agent at the pick up location), this location was not prepared to receive my truck. When the agent at this location attempted to call the customer service number, "all the agents were busy" so he hung up rather than wait for the next available agent to assist us. He told me that because the line was busy that he couldn't do anything to help me. I called the same number on my cell phone and waited for a customer service agent. When the customer service agent came on the line, he was helpful only when I threatened to leave the key and walk out of the building. Even the incorrect location (that I was assigned online by the pick up agent in Sarnia) did not have an available spot for me; the customer service agent was going to make me drive at least 30 minutes away to another drop off location. It took 16 minutes of discussion, complaining and threatening before he found a way to allow me to leave my truck at this location. Not impressed with my experience from beginning to end.

The vehicle smelled like manure. Obviously the previous user transported bags of it. Vehicle should not be rented in that condition.

Drop off session was a nightmare. Place I was originally sent to was closed and wouldn't take the truck. I was sent to another spot that didn't want to take my truck because they felt they didn't have room. Very frustrated!

Truck was dirty inside, and no dolly I ordered! Clerk told me to "just tell the Kingston location the equipment wasn't there". Had to drive to Upper Wellington, Hamilton to pick up supplies where received 5 star service! Do not ever send me to a gas station agent (Dundurn St) where 1 clerk takes care of gas bar, car wash and rental and obviously uHaul is not their main business.

Do what your website promises and have it at the proper, reserved location not some dinky gas station where you keep getting pushed aside for people getting gas. Took me almost 45 minutes to get my truck as I kept having to step aside for gas customers and then he didn't even go out and check the truck with me.

The truck was not perfectly clean and has drywall particles and dust - receiving agent made comments about that. The agent did not walk around truck with me and at receiving end, receiving agent noted cap for trailer electrical hook up was missing - a customer would not be expected to identify that issue. Agent was not able to explain why an additional $20 was charged - and only discovered it was HST when I looked at the electronic receipt. When I reserved truck for pick-up in Burlington, U-haul called and said I had to pick it up in Hamilton - this cost me both money and time - when I drove by the Burlington location, there was a 10' truck parked which indicated there was one available.

I was charge an extra day of insurance. Hamdi at customer service will no reimbursement and mis inform there rep and private franchise owners. Poor customers service. I rent over 8-10 trucks a year. Disgusting Service
