The model U-Haul has is not flexible for the client. I had to drive my bike 10 km to pick up the truck since there were no places on Hamilton mountain to pick this truck up. The other aggravation was that I could not drop off the truck the night before since I was told they were not allowed to leave U-Haul vehicles in their parking lot overnight. I was hoping to leave the truck and keys in a drop box. The only positive was your on-line booking. Very simple and convenient. Sorry to say but I will be using Ryder since your model of pick-up and drop-off is not very customer friendly.

There was some problem with the vehicle (which was the 9" van) I actually requested and I was given a larger truck for the same price. My request had been made with plenty of time, so I was not happy with this replacement, but I took the truck, since I had to make the move. Other than that, service was expedite and pleasant. Thank you.

I got a van that stunk like a mixture of Cow dung and Cigars!. There was soda spilled all over the deck and floor driver and passenger side. I informed the people in charge of bookings and they said that they don't deal with Uhaul and that there was nothing they can do. But they did take my money for Uhaul! figure that one out! I sucked because I wanted to put on the A/C and could not because of the smell!.

When booking with call center they need to inform customers as to where they are picking and dropping off trucks . i thought i was calling upper wellington location to show up there to find out i had to drive out of my way to another location waste of gas and time .

Rented my truck for 8, nobody showed up until 8:30. While filling out the paperwork, the guy asks how many KM we think we will use. Later to find out he meant MILES. There is a huge difference in price! We also informed him that we would be bringing it back later than anticipated. We were informed we had the truck BY HIM for 24hrs. Come to find out later when u-haul calls, that the truck was booked after us and that the guy had called be and spoken to me at a 1:55, which was impossible because I left my phone at my new place and was loading the truck! The location where I got my truck is a joke!

The gentleman who was supposed to process my order wasn’t there making me wait 20 min. For him to arrive. I booked my rental for 8:30 am, I showed up at 8:45. When he did finally arrive he was rude and errogant, yes I was upset having to wait, that is the whole point of pre booking. Once I did get the truck it was absolutely filthy. Upon returning the truck I snapped a photo of the gas gage and km for proof that I returned the truck with the proper amount of gas in it and km. I just received my bill and was charged $20.00 for fuel. I took the picture thinking this may happen because this location seemed very poorly run. I am expecting to be refunded the $20.00. It’s a shame that this location is soooo bad, I’ve used haul many times with zero complaints only good things to say

When a customer puts a pick up location of one place, and then U-HAUL changes the pick up with out informing us. So day of moving we went to the store we asked for, and it was changed, THANKFULLY! The owner of the store got it fixed for is. NEVER CHANGED A CUTOMERS LOCATION WITH OUT TELLING THEM, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE ON U-HAUL. ANYTIMR FOOD WAS AMAZING!!!!

I had an excellent experience. I needed a van to pick up one piece of furniture that was too big for my car. I was able to get one instantly. The location is a block from my home. Staff were quick, courteous and efficient, and offered flexibility (I could have had the van for up to 24 hours). I will use this service again whenever I need to move large items.
