I picked the truck up and soon as I leave I notice a bouncing in the front end. Truck had graffiti on it and I couldn't drive over 30mph due to the front drivers wheel shuffling and feeling like it would fall off. I didn't move all my belongings only some due to my fear of the wheel falling off. I returned it early due to this and let the man know I have worked on cars my whole life and I stated I FELT like the wheel bearing was out and u could hear it squealing and wiggling. He pretty much told me I didn't know what I was talking about and didn't even look into the issue I feel I'm due some type of refund of a partial at least which he refused.

The location is a working garage and as such it is like many others, a little dirty and a little loud; but no big deal to me as I was dropping off the trailer for my one way rental. Staff were great and courteous and I was dealing with them in what was clearly a rush period. If they service your trucks and trailers there I think you have a great outfit for that as I could see that they clearly knew their way around mechanics and were well equipped.

The scheduled pick up time was 7:30 however the business does not open until 8:00. The person working the counter was not customer service oriented in any way and that is the nicest way I can describe him and his service.

I had a reservation for noon. When I walked in I waited and a man came to the desk. I told him I had a reservation he mumbled “a reservation during lunch”. I don’t think he knew I heard him so I asked was I not supposed to reserve during lunch. He said no not my fault he would work it out w them, whoever they are. The price was different then what I was told he said I needed to call U-Haul and tell them to do their job. He just went on & on about it. He even laid a pen down and suggested I write down the reps name who booked me. In the mist of all this he was going back and forth w another employee about a a schedule. The U-Haul cargo fan itself was fine, other than the lingering smell of manure it was clean. the man who cleans them that brought it out was super nice. Overall I got what I needed done, I could’ve done without the attitude from the man that checked me in. Since he seems to be so easily annoyed to process a U-Haul rental I’ll just use another location in the future.

These people need to get a better attitude. They lack people skills and seem to hate dealing with people. I wasn’t in the office for 1 minute and they were already yelling at people and getting attitudes over little things. They need to realize they wouldn’t have a job without people coming into rent these trucks. This place should be shut down or they need to find another line of business to get into. The parking there sucks. There is no where to park and you park somewhere to run into rent the truck and that makes someone mad. You can’t win so go some where else.

My moving experience was made completely miserable because of Uhaul! As if moving is not stressful enough. It had nothing to do with the place that I finally rented the truck from. I had reserved a truck for my moving day in advance, I had hired movers too! When moving day arrived and I went to get my truck, there was no truck! None! Here I was with movers setting and no truck to load. I called Uhaul and they tell me there are no trucks available anywhere within a 50-mile radius of me! Apparently, this company doesn't know how to run a business. I found my own truck 5 miles away from my home, and it was a Uhaul! I ended up paying out the ass for it but I had to have something! Uhaul needs to step up ! Thanks Uhaul for causing all the added stress!!!!

That location first of all is cram tight no room what so ever. When I first got there I was greeted by a gentleman behind the counter. No problem checking in to get the truck. The truck I had seemed like a clunker from what I’m use to renting. When I got back w/ the truck is when there was a problem. I was told by two different employees there where to park it. So after the guy outside told me to park it in a spot so he can get through. I walked back in the office to return the keys & they told me to bring the truck up to the front of the store after I was exhausted from a long move. I was really mad when they told me that! Never again will I rent from there ever again!!! Not very pleased w/ Uhaul that day from my experience!!

Great service, great truck, and u-haul upgraded us to a larger truck for free when the one we were supposed to get did not make it back on time. Also was treated wonderfully by Lapeer Rent All when we dropped off after reaching our destination over 500 miles away.

I had several issues with my reservation as a whole. I made an online reservation a month out of when I needed a truck. I requested a certain pick up location, pick up time, truck size and drop off location. I received a call the afternoon before my pick up date saying the pick up location was moved and I could pick up the truck at 1 pm when I had reserved a truck for 7 am. The rental location accommodated my early request and bumped up my pick up to 8 am (when they open), but we had to drive the truck back to their location instead of dropping it off in the city we moved to, which is what I requested on my online reservation. I was on the phone with uhaul customer service trying to work out my arrangements the afternoon before I moved. The added stress right before moving is not what your customers should be experiencing. Next time I need a rental truck, I will probably look into another company first.

I rented through express pick up! I was to get the truck at 5. I called to see if I could get it early and Jim told me my truck wasn’t back yet that the customer that was dropping it off was late! He then told me if Mu truck didn’t come I’d have to go somewhere else. I asked if I would get a discount or deal for having to go somewhere else and he told me no! He stated sometimes people don’t return when they are supposed to and I’d just have to go somewhere else! (On a Saturday when U-Haul were closed!) He was rude and very unhelpful! He did call me to tell me that truck would be there in 30 mins. So when I pulled in he was helping the customer dropping it off and I asked if he could help me and he told me no I had to do it through my smart phone because I did the express pick up! Luckily I called and spoke with a extremely nice lady at U-Haul customer service who helped me through the whole thing! I would definitely never use south potamac U-Haul again!!

There is an elderly woman who works there who was helping us at the counter. Out of no where she began talking about immigrants and being racist. We were there to rent a U-Haul, not get lectured on her beliefs.
