The wait times for automatic check in were much longer than anticipated. Having to take pictures and wait for a representative to call emergency contacts seemed like something we could have done prior to check-in, and having to wait around for this put us behind schedule. Next time I will use the traditional check in method with the associate in person!

People in front of us had to leave without their truck because they didn’t have a smart phone. We were not made aware that we needed one either but luckily we did. They were not told they needed one before hand. Also there are two holds on my checking account that have yet to drop off. The waiting area was nasty and cluttered

Worst experience ever! Moved with uhaul over many years and this was a disaster. I didn't get a uhaul with a ramp to help move certain items from my home. I called to change trucks thinking I they would just switch me trucks with a slight increase in the bill. Nope charge me for a whole new charge. I still had the first truck till 3 and it was only 11. If when I called the first time and they would have asked the proper questions that I was always asked over the years none of this would have ever happened. I was always asked what items will I be moving? Do I need a hand truck? Do I need a truck with a ramp? Worst customer experience ever! I will not be returning as a customer. I just now a week later got the things out of my old home to my new one. Not a great move and customer experience.

When the truck and carrier was delivered, no walk around visual inspection was done, yet when the carrier and truck was returned to a location in Illinois, we were accused of Jack knifing the carrier. That was not the case. If the carrier was unsafe, it should have been detected at this shop and not given to a customer who was traveling so far. We could have had a serious accident.

Everything was done very well. There’s nothing that the people could’ve done any better! The location wasn’t great because it was in the city and there was only street parking. I had the rental truck overnight and would’ve preferred leaving my car in a parking lot rather than on the street. Some areas of Hagerstown aren’t great. I wasn’t sure how it was going to be. Nothing happened to my car but I worried about it. I’d recommend a different location where there might be a parking lot attached to the U Haul place.

The tow dolly had a light out when delivered to drop off location, but was never checked before leaving the site. In addition, had to drive 45 minutes from original schedule pick up location to get both the tow dolly and truck rental, after being told they would be delivered to the town I was moving from.

The 2 people working there seemed to be confused. I reserved a 10ft box truck for 10 am. I came in at 10 and was told it wasn't there but they can give me a pickup truck. I said that was way too small and they said that I should leave and they would call me in 1 hour. I had to call them back after an hour and they seemed to not remember me. I explained the situation and they put me on hold. They came back and said the computer was showing that I already picked up the truck. I told her that was impossible. She then put me on hold again then came back and told me she talked to my wife and she picked it up. I told them I dont have a wife so that couldn't of been me. She put me on hold one more time then a man answered and I asked him if he had the truck ready and he said he did and to come get it. When I got there, they acted like they didnt remember me and the lady was some what confused with the paperwork. I had people waiting on me that day and I had to delay everything by almost 2 hours because of there people. Very unacceptable and I will go to another truck rental company in the future.

Everything went great friendly Employees. Until it was time for my refund of $56.00 @ some change. I had to. Return the boxes that I didn't need. Got my refund right there, I returned other things by shipping them and my refund was back on my card, Still no refund has been sent to my by this agency.

Didn't like managers attitude and treatment, wasn't open to questions about equipment. I purchased a Anti rattle lock for trailer. They forgot to attach it at pickup, after I mentioned this attendant didn't do it correctly, Hence trailer made noise all 2,800 miles....Just upset because I called the manager an hour after pickup and he said that it was suppose to make noise and have movement. The UHAUL representative at the site had a little bit of an attitude. I had my reservation on 24/7 and he was being a bit rude talking about I wasn’t supposed to do it that way that in stead I should have gone inside to do the paperwork
