Was efficient, friendly and courteous! Loved the fact that the truck was brand new. The location in Walnut went out of their way to deliver the truck closer to our storage unit in Hacienda Heights. We were very happy with their extra efforts!

The worst moving truck experience. Bad breaking and way too much play in the swearing wheel, very loud and when I told the U-haul guy he told me we depend on the customers to tell us what is wrong with the truck so they can tell the mechanic!!!!???? What? Customers are the test drivers for Uhaul wow. I was missing 1/16 of fuel lol I'm not sure how can they measure that with there sharp eagle eyes looking at an old 1-4 increment gas gage. No more Uhaul

My door came up twice on the truck. I got pulled over because the back keep lifting. I didn't get a refund the other location helped me close the door and it still came up

Very disappointed that even after refueling to the level at which we received the vehicle, we were still charged for 3 gallons of gas. This is even with the odometer showing we only drove 10.3 miles... really your vehicles only get 3 miles to the gallon?

i don't know if there is a way to prevent customer's from smoking in the vehicles or not , but some notices should be posted inside the vehicles to be courteous to others who cannot tolerate the smell of smoke.thank you

I would suggest that the dimensions on your website for your 10' Truck be corrected to read that the clearance inside is only 9'-6" in length NOT 9'-11". You haven't allowed for the door closure or the 2" thick wood protector strips installed around the perimeter walls. If I hadn't brought a tape and measured the interior myself I would have wasted a trip going home just to turn around and come back to rent a bigger truck. Please change the information on your website as it will help others to plan accordingly for a larger truck. Otherwise it was a very satisfactory rental experience. Thank You

There is a UHaul sign on the auto shop building closest to the equipment but it is not where the rental transactions take place. After being ignored by 5 employees eating lunch, I entered the shop to ask where UHaul was. They just waved me towards the rear of the shop. Exiting through an open door took me to a row of stores; UHaul was about half way down. The door was locked and the store empty. After a few minute wait, the owner drove up and took care of my rental.

Take your pick of things to improve from my experience at two of your stores, I rented a truck from your Hacienda Hts store because I also rented a storage from the city of ind store and needed to move my belongings, it was getting late so I arrived at Industry with a light load because I had to be done and out by 7pm and I want to purchase a option of $10 access till 10pm and to make the rental truck worth renting because I had only made one trip, after purchasing the extended hours option the clerk said I could pay the $10 along with my next storage payment,upon arriving with my 2nd and this time full load the office's were closed, I was told they would be but I would be able to swipe my access card and gain access, I swipe the card and access was denied, I thought no frigin way then proceeded to try anything I could think of, over the shoulder swipe, under the legg swipe and yes even the big slam dunk swipe, I was so exhausted I don't think I could have unloaded had I gained access, then I noticed a sign that gave a phone # to call should you encounter any problems, after speaking to two managers for what seemed to have been hours nither one was able or was straight out not willing to help until the next morning, which I thought really sucked,the next morning I returned to the Hacienda Hts store to close the deal and find outhow much of the $98 that was put on hold on my credit card was going to be because I had to barrow my brothers truck and needed to make sure I had enough left to put gas,now your probably thinking I should have done that in the first place so just so you know I try to do things on my own if possible before asking for anyone's help,but the retal truck was reserved for that day so I had to ask my bro and the final cost of the retal was $34 which left more than enough for gas, now I have my brothers truck fully load and I stop to fuel and my streak of bad luck had continued as my credit card was denied so I call and was told the balance of the $98 would not be released until 5 days,now I had to ask my bro to help with fuel until after the 5 days which also really sucked, well U-Hal you ask for my experience so there you have it, all and all I would still do business with you and still recommend you to family and friends because my streak of bad luck is not entirely your fault however as you can see by my story you do have some room for improvement.

1- The truck had mechanical problems. It seemed like it had a faulty transmission. 2- I rushed back to turn the truck in before 5:00pm and the office was already closed, forcing me to come back the next morning. 3- I had requested to pay with a debit card instead of the credit card I used for the rental and the agent agreed. When I returned first thing in the morning, I discovered the account had already been closed out using the card I did not want to use. 4- The agent was indifferent to leaving early, the problems with the truck and using the wrong card. This is not the service I was hoping for, and I will always try and use a competitor from now on.
