Our overall experience with Uhaul was extremely unprofessional, other than the staff at the pick-up site. Customer service was poor, disorganized and nearly left us stranded between houses. Our reservation was changed three times in the 24 hours before our pick up, which was absolutely unnacceptable. When we arrived at our pick up site we found out that no truck was available at that location, and we were not notified until we arrived. Luckily the helpful site staff were able to get us a truck and on our way, albeit an hour late. I will not be recommending Uhaul to anyone else, or using them again myself. It is simply not reliable knowing that our reservation could be changed or unavailable at the last minute. Extremely disatisfied with the overall experience.TIFFANY MARIE M.

UHaul was a great option and did what I needed but getting it was OK. They either didn't want to answer questions I had or didn't know the answer. Not sure which one as it seems my questions were annoying her. I returned the truck 3 hours before the set drop off time and asked if I could have a receipt. They were closing so asked if they could send it via text or email and I said either is fine. I still don't have my receipt and need to call again to get this as we need it for estate expenses. Had been using Uhaul frequently lately for my new business.. Booked trailer for three days but ran around quickly and was able to return trailer a day early.. but 2 hours after I picked it up.. 1:20 instead of 11:30 and was charged for the third day.. Unimpressed... !! Consider the extra day I paid for to be my last booking with UHaul..Chris H.

While the hours seemed a bit short on a Saturday, the ability to make a reservation, check in and then checkout, it doesn't seem to matter if the storefront is open or closed. The franchise was open when I picked up the truck and closed when I returned. Everything went very well. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable when I picked the truck up.DOUGLAS A M.

We rented a 11 foot truck and car trailer to move my son back home. We had a major problem and I paid the extra for the insurance and piece of mind stuff... NO SUPPORT & NO ASSISTANCE when the tire strap snapped in half. I chose the mobile pickup option and had multiple issues. I had to call customer support twice because the first person I talked to didn't help me at all. The second person was really nice and helpful but unfortunately I still had issues and ended up having to go inside the location, which I was trying to avoid due to COVID19. There needs to be an easier way to do contactless pickup because this entire experience has left me annoyed.Ryan C.

we didnt think we should have been charge s a whole days rental fee when we only had it three hours. and the guy working there said we woudl have to have it back by 1230.... when we got there......... last one we rented was further away Kentville and the exact same route and had it 24 hours * and cost altogether 80 some bucks. that was with insurance this time i didnt get the insurance. 95 something also there was tech difficulty so she emailed my contract ( that i cant read its scrammbled ) and too late now lol i have no cell just an at home computer. but they were all nice and polite.GORDEN R.
We were under the impression that we were going to be offered .59 cents per mile instead of .79. However the service was good and staff friendly. Phone and on location. When trying to line up a recent rental - on separate occasions - at a local location, we could not get a phone answer on any call and were told by other locations to call Dartmouth. The weekend return process was also a little unwieldy. But all in all the rental went wellLloyd S.
