1st Avenue Storage was the best place I've gone to rent a uhaul, they're pretty new to the area but were very helpful through our move in March. We rented a tow dolly and a small 5 by 8 trailer and didn't have any billing issues with them. I highly recommend you reserve and rent your equipment here rather than anywhere else in town, it's easy to get find and the equipment is very new and clean also their staff will help you out in whatever they can.

I am sorry this is the worst UHaul experience that I have. I am still waiting for explanation from your manager. Here is why it sucks. I wait almost one hour to pick up the truck. I've finished reservation online and my IDs are solid and on file. So that is one hour I lost. Moreover, I ended up getting a crappy truck which is not the size I ordered and the battery is almost dead. The manger jumped it and I drove it back. After I loaded my stuff, the battery was dead again. I called UHaul for help. The manger answered my phone said he will get someone to help. I waited. And he kept saying someone was coming. Finally I cannot wait anymore. I bought a jump cable and successfully started the truck and finished my delivery. What made me angry are First, you don't check and make sure your vehicles are in good shape. Second, I was shocked that you don't have a contingency plan. I even bought the insurance for the rental. And I almost missed my delivery to UPACK. I finally made it 10 min before they closed Third, I asked for reimbursement at least for the jump cable. And your manager agreed but later asked me to returned the cable. So I ended up doing free labor for the mess and you got to walk away without even an apology. We are not done, I need to give you negative review and blacklist UHaul. You are representing UHaul and your own reputation to keep. I will be waiting by the phone for the solution.

The location was empty and closed when I dropped the truck off. Not very well lit and in the middle of nowhere. The uhaul online dropoff was not working so i had to call the original location to let them know that I dropped off truck, then this location charged me for 3 more days of rental that I didnt have , need, or use. Im currently disputing the fraudulent charges thru uhaul corporate office to get the 228 dollars back they stole from me. Uhaul has lost a customer i will be letting everyone know how horrible my experience was and will be recommending enterprise movibg forward. I expect you will do the right thing and give me my money back asap

The owner wasn't there and had his father running it. The father did not know how to run computer and we had to wait almost two hours for him to finish with the customers in front of us and wait for his son to arrive. Then they couldn't get my card to go through because they were skipping a step. Had to call for help.
