We ordered on-line with a confirmation # & they did not have what we ordered, nor did any U-Haul dealer in the city. Lost 2 hours trying to find something else at a nearby UHaul location; paid for movers that didn't have room to put stuff in & late getting to our destination. Very upset with my experience. Was told I would receive a call from management & still waiting 4 days later.

I booked our truck for Sunday at 5pm. Sunday at 11am Sterling called me to say they wanted to close early and asked if I could pick up the truck early. I came down at noon and picked it up. We returned the truck on Monday at 2pm, they charged me for 2 days??? I pick the truck up early because they wanted to close. I have been calling all day to ask them about it and no one will answer.

This was a "Pass the Buck" experience. I asked the agent to check the electrical connections: running & brake lights, and turn signals. The agent said they were good, however, she didn't seem too certain in her response to me. I was in hurry so I didn't think too much about it at the time. After I picked up the trailer (auto dolly), I drove it about two miles back to my place to pick up the vehicle I was towing, I discovered the brake light/turn signal was not functional. I doubt it failed in the short trip as the road side assistance driver came to my location and diagnosed the problem as a failed connection. Roadside assistance was unable to fix the problem because the light assembly was sealed. So, I then had to go to another Uhaul location, unload the trailer, unhook the defective trailer, hook up the new trailer, and reload my vehicle back onto the other auto dolly. This greatly delayed me on my journey. I think the agent at Sterling Hastings was hoping I wouldn't notice the trailer light defect, and that I would just go on my merry way oblivious that brake/turn signal light was defective so that she would not have to deal with taking the necessary steps to have it repaired-basically "passing the buck"! Had I not double checked the trailer lights this could have been potentially dangerous, as anyone traveling behind me might have misinterpreted my turning or braking intention, thus causing and accident.

I was quoted one price was charged 105 then I returned it later that day and the next morning was charged another 143 dont understand why rates chaged and I was way over charged twice

I put in ten dollars in gas returned at what I got it at and I was still charged $12 for gas refueling. Have never had this problem at other locations.

the truck was not clean but it had just been dropped off and they didn't have a chance to clean it so I understand. What was disappointing was that the internet quoted a mileage rate of .79 /mile and that is what the representative over the phone quoted as well. I needed a 17' truck but only a 20' was available and at a new location. When I picked up the truck the mileage changed to .99/mile and the representative had no way to change it. she was great by the way, just not able to adjust the price to what I was quoted on line and via a phone conversation. I would appreciate an adjustment and a refund for the .20/mile.

I was over charged on milage. I checked the odometer when I picked up the truck, and it matched the contract. When I received my bill, I was charge for three times more than I actually drove it. So I called and asked what happened, and they were friendly but no help. I went on google maps to calculate how far I drove. It was only twenty-three miles. I was charged for sixty nine. I was not pleased with my experience at all.

The advance online registration doesn't really work. You have to speak all that data again to the clerk. But there was no line, so it wasn't a problem. Also... Heads-up this office closes at 1p on a Friday!

Uhaul should be upfront with their customers when it comes to the $50 guarantee. We didn't know there was a credit until we found it on the website. Also, try to do a better job making sure customers have the truck they request. It cost us a lot more than $50 by not having the truck we needed. We had to pay for extra storage.

Have the vehicle ready and in working condition. We had to get a 20 ft truck because the 26ft had bad tires, then the brakes on the 20 ft truck squeaked!

The over all experience from the first call to reserve until finally picking up the car tow was very poor. Specifically this location: there was no demonstration on how to tie down car, there was no check to make sure a The car tow was hitched correctly, all that was checked was the back light, not the running lights, not the turn signals. Now originally we were supposed to pick up the car tow a day earlier but the store we were supposed to pick up from was closed @3:30 pm supposed to close @5pm. The wrong car tow was designated for my car i needed the 6k was reserved the 7.5k. I was told I would receive a $50 reduction in cost still waiting on the call to see if this will beginners or not. All in all this rating was a 1 out of 10

Have the truck and transport trailer ready to go when the customer arrived to pick it up. The area to hook up the trailer was too restricted. It was dangerous to have a customer drive in a small confined area to hook up a trailer to a 26' truck. The paperwork part went well.

I walked in their office to pick up a truck. A gal, by herself, asked me what size truck I was picking up and I said, a 20 ft. She preceeded with the paperwork and after she typed in my CC info she typed in the wrong cvc#. That held things up. After we got the paperwork completed we walk outside to look at the truck for damage. She didn't walk with me and the truck was in the back area in a very tight spot. The renter that rented the truck before me must of had a big dog. The truck had slobber from the dog all over the windows and long hair everywhere. Seats and floors were disgusting. My girlfriend would even ride in it unless we cleaned the inside. I asked the gal, "doesn't this have to be clean before we rent it". Her reply was, "that's the way we got it and we don't have cleaning supplies at this location". I asked her if she was going to move the truck out of this tight spot in this back yard. Her reply was, "no, you are". I will never rent from this place again and will not recommend it to anyone. Stay away!

Extremely upsetting experience. Our reservation was in Greeley. He stated he knew for 2 days it wasn't going to be there. He had absolutely no resolution. Had to call a resolution person. I stood there for 32 minutes. Someone could've called us the day before and transfered our reservation. This was absolutely unexceptable and the worst customer service in Greeley. The location in Mead made up for there with their GREAT service. The location in Greeley should NO LONGER BE ALLOWED TO REPRESENT YOU. Another customer of your s walked out because the truck she went in and personally reserved was not there. There should be confirmations and resolutions. Be proactive instead of pis sing people off. I have 20 yrs in customer service and this was by far the worst until we were diverted to another location which had exceptional service.
