It was very inconvenient for me i tried to rent one in Kingston but had to drive 40 min out of my way to get one but was good to be able to drop it in Kingston at no cost

I had a horrible experience with Uhaul during my move on June 1st. I had reserved a small van in granville ferry for pickup on the 31st. When I arrived at the Granville ferry office they had cancelled my reservation because they had written my phone number down wrong and couldn’t get a hold of me (even though I had dropped by in person earlier that week to make sure everything was in order). They then sent me to the uhaul in Digby, a 30 minute drive away, but when I arrived the vehicle was much bigger than expected and the battery in the van was dead so I couldn’t take it. There was no one there to deal with as the office was closed. I called uhaul and they booked a van for the next day in Kingston, but I would have to drive an hour to get it rather than the 5 minutes originally planned. The Kingston dealer was excellent, but now I’m being charged for having the van for 3days instead of 4hours. I am extremely disgusted with how poorly organized this business is and feel as though I should not be paying anything for the service I received, let alone 5 times the amount I was originally quoted. I have an email out to deal with this issue, but have not heard back as of yet.

Had a difficult time finding exactly where to drop off key as there was u hauls located in a different area then the drop off box. Had to ask around as to where the actual ifffice was located. Also had to drive 25 minutes out of my way on my own mileage to drop off. This seems unacceptable to me and u haul thought that was ok...a $7 owing turns out to be about $25 because of those extra km

When a rental is booked for a 5 hour drive have the gas tank full. Had to drive 2 hours to get it and it had half a tank. I burned through that before I even got home to load it and get on the road. The gasing procedure was given in french so I had to guess how many litres to put in when returning.

the truck was good, however, it was dirty. There was spilled tea or coffee in the cup holders and did not smell good. Also, nobody did a walk around with me to confirm any prior damage.

The second time I've used U-Haul and both times was sent to a distant location rather than the contracted location for pick-up. The Vendor and U-Haul Customer Service/Complaints Dept. could have cared less. The fellow at the Cust Serv./Complint Dept . was very rude and condesending.

Found the location of the equipment ok but had a difficult time finding the office which was at a different location. The person did not inspect the inspect the UHaul equipment or my equipment with me. As it turned out the rollers on the door of the trailer we’re so rusty we had to pry it opened with a crowbar then it was different to close it.

Representative was very abrupt and didn’t feel like he should do a pre trip walk around , when I walked around the truck noticing body damage and a drivers side head light that was out , he seemed less then eager to explain the damage or have the headlight bulb replaced , back of truck body/cargo area was far from clean
