Remove the cart and blankets from the box. They are inconveniently placed, in the way, a trip hazard, and take up space that I pay to use. Otherwise, a really great experience.

There wasn't a question asking how my overall experience was using U-haul. I had some severe issues with day-of picking up the rental. Everything in regards to renting the u-haul ahead of time on-line was wonderful, but the issues began on the day of the rental. In short, it was an in town rental for four hours, 9am-1pm. When I arrived and went through the online process of retrieving the keys, I then ran into issues. It took 45 minutes of talking to two different online technicians and calling (of which I was on hold for over ten minutes) to finally be "approved" to get the key access code. I did not actually get the truck until close to ten and was still expected to return it by 1pm, so instead of fours hours I only had three hours of rental. Then a couple of days ago when I get the charges I noticed it was more than double what was agreed upon. I did not realize that part of the rental was both four hours of use but also just five (5) miles of travel. The total travel was over 30 miles, and I understand that there are charges per mile after speaking with someone. I simply did not know that ahead of time. I decided on u-haul because it had competitive prices compared to local rentals, but given the experience of not being able to pick up the rental on time and not clearly explained extra fees I'm not sure I could refer u-haul to a friend for similar needs. I have used u-haul before for longer, bigger rentals, but it was frustrating the experience of having it only for three of the fours hours and then to be charged double what I had expected to pay.

The truck exterior was dirty but I just took pictures for proof. My iPhone was recognized at online after-hours pickup. I don’t use Safari. I use Chrome. Therefore, I was unable to take photos. I was glad my ride was there so I could use their cell phone! I couldn’t find a way to charge my phone so I was glad I had my wall charger in case I would have had to stop somewhere to charge it. Thankfully, I didn’t have any problems!

Online check in is terrible kept to take the same pictures over and over again when finally finish got code to get key and had wrong key in box had use find and use different truck. Then call customer service to get straighten out after being on hold for over 1 hour just said screw it and left with truck I had keys for. Will never rent from uhaul again

I was in the dark on the mileage billing. I made an estimate, but I miss calculated. I couldn't find anywhere on the website, the agreement or in the faq's if there was a penalty on my in town rental if I went over, I was worried about some hidden fee if I went over, however the return process cleared it up. Why aren't there floor mats? I checked the oil, it was black and overfilled. I had a v8 gas engine, it had oil that looked over 5k. Maybe the engines can go that long now, I do not know. Just curious if maintenance is being kept up. Lastly I went through the app 6 times trying to drop off my vehicle before I went home and came back shortly after. I tried to go through the website before I gave up the first time as well. On the app it said it couldn't reach the webpage or something. Not until I tried the website did it tell me it was busy and cannot process my request. You may want to put that in the faq's as well. Other than those small things, I enjoyed my truck and I'll be back. It was pretty easy setting everything up and when the app worked it such a relief and a breeze.

Equipment and staff, at both the pickup location and insult online, very helpful. I to use the 'return my truck" function for smartphone and it entered an endless loop, which was annoying. Maybe software thing.

Service was very good, but truck was very dirty inside and out. At a half hour into trip a check engine light appears greatly reducing are fuel economy. Very disappointed.

The location was great. The U-Haul experience was horrible. Renting this vehicle took 15 minutes of me answering more questions than I wanted and providing more information than what I was comfortable with just to create a log on because the U-Haul email with my confirmation disappeared and I was left with what I would call an advertisement. I don't know why there is a "Drive Green" sticker on the dash. There is no way of getting the bars filled to drive "green" unless you are breaking or going down hill. I am okay with the fuel mileage because I know the type of vehicle it is. Just don't try and make is sound like you can get better fuel mileage by driving special, you can't.

I requested rent at counter not online. Imagine my surprise to find this location did not have office hours on Saturdays. 25 degrees outside waiting for the app and trying to take pictures was not a pleasant experience.
