I reserved a 15ft truck over a week ago and when I went in today to pick up, the employee told me UHaual should have contacted me to say where my truck was located. Could not get my appliances loaded because the only truck they had for me was a 10ft with no ramp. Poor setup you have at this location. Your procedures are broken, employees do not have support needed to succeed, and your company is not lean. My last time to use a Uhaul vehicle. I have moved so many times over a 23 year military career and always used Uhaul but promise today was my last.

Supposedly due to "a new person" not being familiar with the lockbox, my wife and I were unable to receive the key to our truck at the designated time. We had specifically reserved our truck via the U-haul website in order to pick up the vehicle earlier in the day (before the location opened for business) and "beat the heat" while packing our stuff and moving. Craig, the point-of-contact given by the website when we ran into difficulties, was fairly helpful but ultimately we were told to come back when the rental location opened for the day and that they would refund us the cost of the vehicle rental for the inconvenience. Well, an hour later and with the day only getting hotter, I came back to All Star Storage to receive the keys from the property manager and after an initial terse dismissal to the effect of, "U-haul's not open yet" I explained that I'd talked with Craig earlier and he'd said I could pick up the keys since I tried to pick them up on time but ran into issues. Just glad to have finally gotten the keys since my wife and I were on a tight schedule to get everything moved, I hopped in the rental truck and left. As I'm pulling out of the parking lot I realized that, although the contract says I'll be required to return the truck with a full tank of fuel, I was given a vehicle with less than even 3/4 of a tank. Oh well, I think, at least I have the truck and can finally get moved... Fast forward to my wife and I arriving at our house to load up the rental truck, and we discover that both the dolly and the stack of furniture pads we'd rented with the vehicle weren't even there! I called All Star Storage to ask about that and was told that we'd be refunded the cost of the dolly and furniture pads... Well, almost a full week later and after several calls to the location and being told "We'll follow-up with the manager and get back to you" I've been charged the full price for the rental vehicle, mileage, the dolly, and the furniture pads. I've moved multiple times in the last several years due to my job, and this was the first time I've used U-haul. I *might* use them again in the future, but I'll be damned if I'm going to rent from this location. Extremely disappointed in their service.

Uhaul companies,associates, and it's representatives should be able to give any detailed information on the break down of this each bill. There are too many holds on a credit charge per rental reservation. Payments needs to be debited sooner with the correct adjusted charges not long after the Uhaul rental trucks are returned.

Our family had the worst moving experience we’ve ever had with U-haul. We didn’t get our truck until almost 10 hours after we registered to pick it up (we registered for our truck over a month in advance). After numerous calls to various locations we were told had a truck for us (but didn’t), we were finally given a truck. However, our truck was not only not ready, but we had to drive an hour and a half to finally pick up a truck for our move, and then to a DIFFERENT location to get the dolly we registered for to transport a secondary vehicle. Through all this, we spoke with Jeffery Messenger (a president with the company) and were told we would be given a discount for the move. However, by the time we paid for everything, we weren’t even compensated enough to cover the cost of gas for picking up our truck and getting back to our home. When we dropped off our truck after the move, we were told they did not have room for the dolly. We then had to drop the dolly off at a DIFFERENT location. We ended up not getting to our final destination until a day late, lost money on gas, lost help we would have had for our move due to our delay, and were manipulated to believe we would receive compensations we DID NOT receive. Customer service was terrible and we WILL NOT ever use or recommend the use of U-haul again.

I pay $75 dollar's i drive the teuk for 22 miles they charge me 30 dollar's if the truk do 8 miles for galons I'm waiting the resolution of the problem or I'll go to thw court room and soul the company

I had no problem with the location. MY PROBLEM WAS THE PEOPLE THAT YOU HAVE ANSWERING THE PHONE TO BOOK THE RESERVATIONS. The first representative was fine. When I called to confirm location and that they indeed had the vehicle. The number wasn't a working number. I called to report it. THE NEXT GUY WAS A PIECE OF WORK. HE CONFIRMED THAT I HAD THE CORRECT NUMBER. I TOLD HIM IT WASN'T A WORKING NUMBER. HE THEN ASKED ME, "WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO FOR YOU?" I WAS FLABERGASTED! I SAID, "you don't understand what I'm telling you" HE SAID, "I UNDERSTAND YOU PERFECTLY" I REPEATED HIS NAME AND SAID" (his name) and CUSTOMER SERVICE" HE THEN HUNG UP ON ME. I called back to report my experience. I was then connected the local manager - who tried to find me a vehicle and offered a $50.00 compensation for my frustrating experience. I decided to cancel, but called back within about 5 minutes. The manager, by this time had left for the day. The person I talked to this time, was, shall I say, in need of customer service training as well. After some exchanges of what I experienced, she promised to reinstate the reservation and the $50 compensation as offered by her manager after much dialog. Yes the reservation was reinstated but $50.00 compensation WAS NOT. Needless to say this transaction took all of 1 1/2 hour at least. Very frustrating! My advise - customer service courses for the people answering your phones. Thank you!!
