I made the reservation via telephone. When I got to the location the next morning, I found that the ratcheting mechanism on the Auto Transport trailer was broken. I had to drive around in the lot and find another auto transport. The lady working the office did not help me hook up; I had to do ALL OF IT myself. I asked her where the help was. She said they were out on a roofing job ... that the U-Haul business there is just a small dealer and they don't supply help for hooking up trailers and such. I told her that was really poor service. Once inside to do the paperwork, she found out that the roofing company personnel had changed her password to the U-Haul computer system. She had to text the area U-Haul Manager no less than six times to get help to complete my order. It is very, very obvious that the roofing company personnel had never spent an ounce of time training this lady on ANYTHING. In my estimation, nothing against the lady, but I believe U-Haul Corporation should "pull" the U-Haul dealership away from this roofing company who just happens to dabble in renting U-Haul equipment. The roofing company that operates this location is giving a U-Haul a horrible name. I feel that I should be refunded AT LEAST ONE-HALF of what I paid U-Haul because I had to do all of the work and I had to wait over an hour to get the paperwork accomplished because the roofing company had not invested 15 minutes in training the woman who was operating the business. Shame on U-Haul for continuing to allow this shabby work to take place.

Not worried about next customer. My problem should be enough. Was told truck would be at location I need. The get email next day it us at location 11 miles back out of my way. That put me 31 plus miles away from the 9 miles I needed to go from my old address to my new address. The location I requested was just a mile from my old address. So I would only drove a total of maybe 20 miles from my old address. I'm out 80 plus dollars to what would have only cost me maybe 40 dollars.

Daniel G.Location was closed when I got there at 3:30 pm on a Friday. The online registration is a convenient option if needed but I did not like having to use it. There isn't a picture upload option, only to take the picture and my phone will not allow access so I had to use someone else's phone. For the price I pay to use the rental and the fees I'd rather not have to do the work myself. It adds stress to a stressful situation.
