I personally don't think that from where I went to when I dropped it off it was really impossible to put the mileage on that truck as stated. It was my mistake for not checking myself and photo the mileage before it left the U-Haul rental. But like I said it was a mistake I made which want happen again.

We couldn't find the seatbelts for the passengers seats. Plus the website let me schedule for pickup when the store wasn't open so I had to reschedule. But everything else was great

Mr. Mac was awesome and did his best to help our situation. I reserved a 5x8 covered trailer online and the closest location gave me wasn't really close to home, but was on our route to where we needed to pick up furniture. I didn't like that we were going to have to drive another half hour after finishing unloading the trailer to take it back to where we got it, especially given the fact that there are several Uhaul places very close to where we live. We got to the location to pick up the trailer and the lady told us that we had a 6x12 reserved. I did not need that much space nor did I want to pull a 6x12 trailer. She kindly called around and found a 5x8 that was an hour further down the road, but not very out-of-the way for us. I wanted to avoid backtracking, but she also told me that there was a location much closer to our starting (and ending) point that had a lot of them in stock. First of all, why didn't give me that option originally? Secondly, why did they send me a confirmation email that I had a 5x8 trailer to pick up at a certain location that didn't really have it in stock? We ended up driving much further than originally planned to return the rented trailer. This all could have been avoided had the website directed us to the closest location with a 5x8 trailer. We have moved 3 times in the last 6 years, and moved several times between undergrad and grad school and have used Uhaul many times with no issues, but with two small children in the car and a tight timeline, this time just left me with a bad taste in my mouth. Mr. Mac, though, was really wonderful, understanding, kind and apologized that we'd had the run-around from Uhaul.

The 20 foot truck didn't have much pickup and went into a lower gear when coasting downhill. This may have been done as a precautionary measure to prevent excessive acceleration downhill. Gas mileage was poor at 8 MPG. In overall the truck did the job, but was not easy to drive. A/C ran great!

fellow was quick to get me out the door, would have forgot some things if I did not ask... He also did not help much to lift and attach the trailer to my truck, and assumed that I knew nothing about attaching my chains to my truck. LOL>..

It takes a long time to get your refund back. If we are due money back from paying a deposit, it takes too long for that. No excuse. I am comparing my actual cost with my payment and I am due money back.



schedule time was the only issue for me, I wanted to pick it up as earlier as i can so i can start my moving but i couldn't because online scheduled was wrong.
