Previous customer dropped off truck late/no fault of dealer. Seat was sticky and smelled horrible. Truck drove like brake was left on (it wasn't) Less than 9 miles to the gallon on fuel

Paying attention to what you're doing instead of your cell phone would be a good start. I feel that had a lot to do with being given the wrong truck and a lot of issues we had with proper receipts. Not to mention we were told we would be contacted back the next day regarding the issues with our contract and have yet to hear anything weeks later.

Twice I have reserved a truck and a dolly so I can move a washer and dryer. Both times they didn't have the dolly I reserved making the move extremely difficult. If you don't have an item for rent they you shouldn't offer it. Last time using this location.

we were infiormed that a uhaul truck wud be sent to our city in kinston, nc. we had to pay to get someone to drive us from kinston to goldsboro. we were not told until last minute and it there us 3 hrs behind. we had already arranged for loaders. held everyone up, not happy with that.

The clerk that was in charge of the rental asked me to take a picture of the gas gauge in the truck when I returned it so that she could see if it was full when returned. When I returned with the truck & went inside she was sitting at a computer with a man & wouldn't even look at the picture of the gas level or come to the counter. she just said leave the keys. i wanted to ask her a question but she was too busy. I think that was very rude,and unprofessional. I will use UHaul again but maybe not that location. Thank you Brenda Brewington

When asked if the plug to attach the trailer to my vehicle was included or if they had some to purchase, the lady had no idea what I was talking about and just said yes. She also didn't tell me where the trailer was located, just to go out there and find it and make sure the numbers matched. Also, there was no one to help attach the trailer to the hitch. Every place I have gone, they always walk out to show you which one you're renting is located and offer assistance. I was the only customer there.

I would like for the equipment needed to help lift my items onto the truck was in with the truck. All I got was the truck and I think that was not right because it made it seam like it was not equipped with what I needed to move correctly.

Still have not received and email with final bill from neither location. Berkeley or the Ampel storage location. Kept both vans about the same amount of time but there was a big difference in price. ??? Had to check bank statement to find out final charges.

There is absolute nothing I can say to improve the service I received. The manager was extremely professional and sensitive to my needs. She is a great representative of the company.

the individuals running the store not too familiar with all aspects of trailer experience. i went ahead of scheduled pickup to ensure my truck would work but only got that i had a 1 7/8 ball on hitch of truck that would match the trailer. did not feel real confident since was first time trailering my motorcycle but went without a hitch...the 55mph max. speed on interstate made trip longer also.

I don't have a problem with the service I have a problem with the mileage on the vehicle, the fuel read full travel only a total of 39 Miles and had to put 9gallon of fuel to refill to full mark on vehicle.

This was the most messed up situation and caused extreme stress for me. I scheduled a truck and was given a contract number. I was to pick up the truck at Carolina Mini Storage, very close to my home. It was to picked up on Sat., 11-26-2016 at noon. On Sat. morning, while I was getting ready to go start moving things, I received a text message telling me that the truck was not available at the storage area and I would have to pick it up at another location. I also received a voice mail with the same message. I called to find out why and was told they didn't have the size truck I had asked for so I would have to use another location. The location I was given was substantially more mileage and when I looked up the location on Google I didn't even know how to find it. I called back and was given another location and then the Superfans location. When I ordered the truck originally I told the person I was ordering with that I HAD to have an appliance dollie. I was told they come with the truck. The Superfans location had pickup at 5:15 on Sat. so I had lost all my help due to the late hour. Plus by the time I picked up the truck it was dark and too late to go start packing. When I got home with the truck I looked in the back to be sure the appliance dollie was there and it was not. I called UHaul and spoke with Brian. Brian and I spoke for 2 hours while he tried to locate an appliance dollie. He searched and looked and looked while I was on hold to he was telling me where a location might be to pick one up on Sunday. I was moving a washer and dryer so I HAD to have the proper dollie. Brian sent messages to the manager of this area by text and then finally by email to get some help with this situation. He located a dollie and I had to pick it up on Sunday. The location was out of the way and added more miles to the billing. I ended up paying for 18 miles when I only had to go less than 5. Also I was not told the mileage was going to cost 99 cents a mile. When I didn't get the truck until late Sat. I called and was told I could get the truck for 69 cents a mile. I was told that I would receive a check for $50 as the vehicle was not available when I needed it and also had to go to a different location. I will see if this truly does happen. The situation of the locations were nice and helpful people but changing the times and locations for pickup at the last minute are not doing customers correctly. I am very disappointed with the way this has been handled. Brian tried very hard to make it all work. I didn't lose my patience with him or blame him for all that had taken place but I do blame the management of UHaul. This was not a good experience and I'm not sure I would ever use UHaul again. This was very stressful and not necessary.
