Stop ripping people off. I returned the truck early "the same day" and even came by to clean the truck out when I returned the keys the next day. Long before 4:00 When it was due. It was topped off with gasoline at the gas station 50 feet away from where I rented it. The guy kept trying to charge my card more money and I had to cancel it. I have witnesses and pics. Proving the truck was returned CLEANER than when I got it. Full of gas etc. I drive the truck 10 miles and put over a gallon back into it when no more would fit and have proof at that as well. This guy is scamming people and charging their card a week later without approval or reasoning.

The location is fine. However the online system leaves a lot to be desired. Even after having an account and signing in to the "pick up" screen it takes an excessive amount of time. I had to take and send multiple photos including at least three sets of photos of my license. I could have walked in to the counter and it would have been much faster than the online system. If they want this system to work you should be able to set all this up in your account file and streamline the pick up process. I like U haul and the location gives good service but I do NOT recommend the online reservation set up.

Location and service attendant was great. Uhaul s a company however was extremely poor. After making a reservation for a 10am pickup, I arrived to being told uhaul comouter systems were down. The site attendant called the Louisville Uhaul office and was told that there wasn’t any way he could rent me the trailer until the system came back up. This is very poor as I had arranged for people to unload the trailer at My destination. I would think some backup plan could be put into place for this event, Nd my information submitted later, as it could have severely affected many customers who may have also been working on a time deadline. Uhaul had all my information and credit card info, which the attendant verified. Why couldn’t he input and process afterwards? Very inconvenient as my help had later commitments and weren’t able to assist in the unloading when I finally got the trailer rented 2.5 hours later. Poor management.

He told me truck was due back next day but on contract had return date as same day 6 hrs later. I was moving a 3 bedroom house 2 hrs away. It would have been useless to rent truck only 6 hrs!! And he told me round trip would be cheaper which was a lie because I got charged for EVERY MILE DROVE, but 1 way rental would have ONLY BEEN CHARGED FOR any mileage over 220 miles. So he basically steered me towards the option that he made the most $$$ on. Very disappointed since this was 2nd time I have rented from him & was pleased the 1st time around.

Doors came open on interstate and U did not notice until after driven a number of miles, Two items fell out. Did not notice until after reaching destination. That is all I know. could have been bad. Assumed I did not close door so closed door with care, just did not consider the door had a problem. Then door came open again a number of miles later. Both time cars pulled beside me pointing at trailer. Tied door closed but did not know why it would not stay closed. When dropping off trailer after use found the problem. Part of the door latch was missing. Lost two pieces of furniture, a TV Stand and End Table. So not a good experience and concerned about hazard of furniture falling in road. Got home after dark so did not see it.

I was scheduled to pick my u haul up at 3:30pm on a Sat, the pick up location informed me he was closing at 12 noon, so I had to pick it up at noon, I was told that I had to return it by Mon by 12 noon, I informed him I needed it till 2 pm.. so he billed me for another day... he told me it would be $19.00... ended up being over $40.00.. plus another $38.00 insurance... I was billed over $291.00 for a truck I needed 2 days...

Store owner was no help. The mobile pick up was not working. Was on hold for 20 min When phone was finally answered all I was told was “shut your phone off and turn back on”. Didn’t work so I had to call in again.

I think the guy's name was Jason who serviced me...? He acted like I was bothering him & dismissive in his demeanor. Asked to confirm that the truck & trailer would be hooked up (as the other location in town informed me it should be...) and told I had to do it myself! What a jerk! I was leery of hooking it up incorrectly and wanted him to assist. He finally volunteered another guy and he was helpful. And the trailer was parked in an awkward position to back up to it. When "traffic" called to confirm my rental she confirmed that same day but 2 hours previous - what? No, no, no ...I booked it for tomorrow! Then this location called about noon on the day of the rental asking why I hadn't picked up my truck - informed him I scheduled it four hours later. GET IT TOGETHER - surely your systems aren't THAT ANTIQUATED?!? I have rented from U-Haul 4X and every time left me wanting to find (run to) another business to deal with! The guy (owner?) at this location needs some coaching on how to nicely service and process customers! Maybe he doesn't like to be friendly?

One of the trucks had significant damage to the front bumper and fender. Even though it did not interfere with the operation of the truck I can’t believe UHaul rented it out in such condition. It was embarrassing for me to drive and embarrassing to UHaul to have it out on the road.
