Nous avions réservé une remorque fermer de 8'x5'. Quand nous nous sommes présenté, le conseiller nous a avisé qu'il n'y avais que des camions et des remorques ouvertes à cet emplacement. Par contre, il a admis qu'il avait eu une erreur et nous a loué une remorque ouverte qui était plus grande (9'x5') et plus dispendieuse au même prix. Il neigeait beaucoup cette journée et nous avion des matelas à déménager. Pour ces raisons, je ne recommanderai pas U-Haul dans le futur.

i was called the day before my pickup to confirm the truck, but the caller never told me which location he was at. in my online application, i had selected a location in nepean but was called by this one instead. because i was busy that day, i did not think twice and just assumed my truck was confirmed in nepean. the next day before leaving, i realize the call was from an 819 area code, which is not nepean. so i called and asked where my truck was, and they told me aylmer. i ended up picking up the truck without any issues, but spent an extra 50 minutes driving to and from aylmer to pick it up. it was unfortunate that there were no trucks available in nepean but i would suggest confirming truck AND pickup location on all phone calls.

- The truck was in bad shape and dirty (the ash tray was full of cigarette ashes, the trailer full of leafs and there was a bad smell in the cabin. - The phone check in took so long... I won't use it anymore, at least not until it is fixed and quicker. The servers were really slow, and sometimes the requests would fail... Not recommended.

Avant retourner la van le samedi J’ai appellé à UHaul pour confirmer l’adresse où je devais retourner le véhicule. La personne que j’ai parlé avec m’ai confirmé que je pouvait retourner la van à 69 rue Front. Donc ‘ j’ai laissé le véhicule dans ce succursale. Le lendamain ( dimanche) j’ai reçu une appelle de UHaul en demandant pour quoi j’avais pas retourné la van. Ils ne savaient pas que j’avais déjà retourné le camion et que quelqu’un de votre compagnie m’avait confirmé les coordonnées pour retourner le camion. Je me suis senti frustré à cause de la situation à cause que la personne qui m’ai appelé ne comprenait pas la situation. J’ ai remarqué qu’il y a pas un système de vérification de l’information donnée aux clients. Je ne pas reçu une appeler ni un message en s’excusant pour l’inconvénient. A part cete situation le service est bon. Merci

Picket up trailer to move some furniture. When I got to my destination and opened the trailer it was very dirty inside ( animals waste) all over. As I was not equipped to clean it and did not gave the proper tools had to use a blanket to come all the dirt. I order 5 covers and was confirmed if s ready but when I went for the pick up was told not available!!!!!

By far worst experience i’ve ever experience, 1st of all, truck was only at a 1/4 tank, After I dropped the truck off, they guy took the keys, ignored me. He took 2 days for him to actually close the contract and send me a receipt, after I received the receipt, he charged me for 2 days, and it and extra 8 miles, very sketchy location and should be shut down, they don’t care about the uhaul part of there business.

First, they gave us the wrong van and so we had to correct the mileage and gas meter on the contract. Then they overcharged us on the mileage at the end. Poor adminstrative skills. And they really seemed not to care about accuracy.

They added milage to my bill. I dropped the truck off showing 1007 kms . They billed me for 1017 kms. Also, they didn' t finalize my bill upon return. They waited for the boss to come in 2 days later. At that point i was not able to dispute the numbers. Very unprofessional!

Somehow I could not rent a 17' on any given day of the week. I accepted a 20' after numerous searches, but perhaps make sure to have every model available at every location. At least if the search covers 5 days...

I booked the van for 10 am. I was advised tby text around 12 pm that my location is in another end of town at 6:30 pm. I managed to get another booking. When I came there, the guy told me right away that he had no vehicles. It was a meat market, a dirty disgusting place. The owner met me with this pants unzipped. He was rude. He told me that he maybe will have a van by 3 pm. When I asked him to call U-Haul to find a solution, he refused and cancelled my reservation. I called U-Haul, waited for 20 minutes, was transferred to US, waited another 20 minutes. Then spoke to the manager who had no idea what Ontario is and how many time zones Canada has. She managed to book me immediately to Aylmer. There was no internet at the location, but the owner was very helpful, and I got the van around 3 pm. Your company should stop outsourcing your services to random people. I was using U-Haul in Montreal, they are professional and punctual. Ottawa U-HAUL is damaging company's reputation.
