my comments for your co. is you do not have any respect for your customer you provide one submission and then once you know we have no choice because we are moving on a specific date you change the price of the submission this is very wrong and I will submit to the Business Bureau and report this situation

I got a first receipt amount of 72$, only to find out later that I was actually charged 170$. It is way above the original price I was given, and therefore won’t be using uhaul again but another company where these suprises don’t occur. There is a wide margin between what’s being advertised and what we get billed. Huge disappointment

Equipement I reserved wasant available. I got lucky they had one available truck but had to pay double the amount for rental and i did not need all the space. No rebate was given. Manager was really rude when I tried to deal somewhat of a refund, telling me that he would of rather left me on the curb with no rental at all. No one came in contact with me in any ways regarding changes on my rental.

They charged me 25$ for cleaning, when I only moved 2 (new) beds and a new freezer. The truck box was already dirty before I used it. I would recommend checking every inch of the vehicule before leaving with it.

You offer good prices, but the place was understaffed. In addition, your location software is pathetic. There were two clients in front of me complaining that their truck never manifested after they booked online.

The online reservation system is flawed. I had reserved the truck for 11am but when I went to pick it up the clerk could not find the reservation anywhere and when I showed them my reservation I was told that the truck was for 3;30pm. I was not pleased with this at all but had no choice but to accept it.

I’m super disappointed with the service. I rented a van just to transport a mattress and frame, it took me an hour and half to do it. And I was charged with a cleaning fee which is ridiculous, I didn’t give back the van unclean. When I called the location to explain the charge the agent was rude and did not help me at all. On 19 April 2018, I booked a 15' truck for my moving on the day April 30, 2018 and I received a confirmation call and text message from U-Haul on 20 April, 2018 (U-Haul res #21451471 at 383 Coventry Rd, Ottawa, ON K1K 2C5 is scheduled for 2:00 PM on 4/30/2018 to 2:00 PM on 5/1/2018); but unfortunately, I went to 383 COVENTRY RD on April 30, 2018 and realized that my reserved truck had become to a bigger size 26' truck. While the size of the truck was not able to enter the parking lot of the apartment, unfortunately, the branch employee gave me a truck switch that differed in terms of size from my reserved truck, regardless of the issue and the lack of respect; And the truck 's kilometer was higher and the amount of its gasoline was less than the amount stated in the contract. But when I told them about the more kilometer of the truck and the low amount of gasoline, your employee in the branch refused to review with anger and disrespect, and I called the customer service on the day that I should be moving that they did not help me after 2 hours of waiting and finally, I talked to your customer service supervisor, Mr. Jude at 12:35 on April 30, 2018, who told me to return the truck to U-Haul Neighborhood Dealer, 660 Boulevard Saint-Joseph, Gatineau, QC and get a smaller truck there, and return the truck to 383 COVENTRY RD the following day as the U-Haul res #21451471, but when I arrived at U-Haul Neighborhood Dealer, 660 Boulevard Saint-Joseph, Gatineau, QC, they refused to change the truck. After more than 1 hour talking to the customer service, the U-Haul Neighborhood Dealer, 660 Boulevard Saint-Joseph, Gatineau, QC replaced the truck and $30 discounts were given to me, to bring the car back to U-Haul Neighborhood Dealer, 660 Boulevard Saint-Joseph, Gatineau, QC, which was far from my address, but unfortunately, they did not give me a discount of $30 after returning the truck to U-Haul Neighborhood Dealer, 660 Boulevard Saint-Joseph, Gatineau, QC and they gave me a bill for two truck that the cost of two trucks was payed from my credit card, while I had just taken a truck and had to pay the cost of a taxi to return from U-Haul Neighborhood Dealer, 660 Boulevard Saint-Joseph, Gatineau, QC to home, unfortunately, this was the worst service I had received from your company.

Nothing wrong with the location, the staff was very helpful as there was issues with the mobile check in. As per your service as UHaul I won’t be recommending it, my rental was picked up and dropped off within the same day, yet I got charged for 2 cycles which is outrageous, if you guys had an extra fee it would be understandable but to be charged a whole other cycle is completely unfair.

The customer service representative named Jessica in the USA who took our order/reservation was extremely rude. It was the worst customer service I've had in years. Not an employee I would ever want to have involved in any business of mine.

Bonjour J'aimerais avoir un retour sur ce courriel. Je suis vraiment mais vraiment déçu du service que j'ai reçu pour les raisons suivante. 1= le temps d'attente est trop long car il y a juste un employé pour les changement d'huile et la location de U-Hull. 2= Il mon laisser partir sans lumière Sur la remorque, l'employé ma dit que tout fonctionnais ( ce qui Étais faux) il y avais un fil de déconnecter sur mon véhicule. 3= les chaines et la connexion de fil de remorque trainais par terre, Ce qui a causer le bris de la connexion des fil de la remorque. 4= J'aurais pu faire réparer la connexion de mon véhicule Gratuitement car il est neuf. 5=j'ai du dépenser temps et l'argent (fil)pour réparer l'erreur de l' employé et la responsabilité du locateur. First off I believe when you rent any vehicle it should be full of gas. This makes things way easier when returning said vehicle. Its total BS to try and figure out 1/4 tank on a beast. 2nd when renting a long distance trip one way, why must you give the person the oldest truck on your lot. And NO this was not a last minute rental weeks in advance. The truck was out of alignment and you couldn't go any more than 100km an hour or it would shake and vibrate. The most uncomfortable longest journey ever. 3rd when renting said truck one should make sure all appropriate items are at the location. I had to go to 2 locations to complete my rental. BS like our time isn't important. Frusterated customer....

the drop-off instructions recommend locking the van with any dolly / blankets or other rented items in it. I want to keep my lock though and the Jiffy Lube staff have no oversight to coinfirm that i did drop off the truck with all the rented gear in it. Is there some other way that it can be confirmed that all equipment has been dropped off securely?

My experience at the Jiffy Lube pick up location was fine, however, this was not the location that was originally on my order confirmation. I was sent to a different location on the other side of town. When I arrived and attempted to sign in to the online portal for a keycode for the lockbox, it turned out that that equipment had not been assigned to my reservation. I called the 24/7 support number that went straight to a voicemail for Yves Leduc. I left a message and phoned the customer service number. I was transferred to a woman who promised to call me back within 5 minutes. After waiting for 35 minutes, I phoned back and spoke to a different gentleman who was able to reserve a vehicle for me at the location I had originally requested for my pick up. I had to incur an additional $40 in cab fare (expecting that the truck I reserved would be available for me to drive back to my place), and I also had to pay my movers for an extra hour of work as a result of the delays in getting my vehicle. I finally received a call back from Yves several hours after I left him a message and explained the situation. He advised that he would provide a $50 reservation credit for my inconvenience, and suggested that the "deal" I received at the location was great and should make up for the additional cost I incurred. I explained to him that the "deal" I received was exactly what I had reserved for online - to which he said was impossible as that rate was not available online. I have since emailed him the screenshot from my reservation as proof that I received what I had reserved on my own - the pick up location and customer service agent I spoke to did not do me any favors from a pricing perspective. Yves also said that "he loves speaking to people who reserve online, because they don't understand the rate and it's difficult to explain to them". I found this to be extremely unprofessional and condescending. Overall, outside of the customer service agent (I believe his name was Daniel) who was able to reserve a vehicle for me, I had an extremely poor experience with U-Haul. Your survey questions do not capture enough information for a consumer to adequately rate the overall experience.

Le bureau d'accueil aurait avantage à avoir un petit ménage. Propreté douteuse. La remorque louée avait un petit problème électrique qui avait été détecté plus tôt mais n'a pas été réparé avant ma location.
