The location pick up was fine. As an independent business owner, the issue would be your reservation system. When I called to reserve, she was fine, but was obviously stubbing through and required me to give information twice. Picking it up at the location, they as well were having issues with your system. Some of the information I gave your first agent didn't come down the pipeline. Once again repeating the same information. All agents were pleasant and I am pretty tolerant. But when it takes 45 minutes to finally complete and move out can be improved. To re-cap, the agents are fine, your system is not friendly to your agents. Your agents are frustrated. Put this on your next agenda for the Board meeting. The equipment performed well.

The box part of the truck contained broken glass that I had to clean out before moving my furniture. The KM charge was very high.

Allow them to rent at the same time the store opens. In this case the store was open at 7 AM, but they couldn't rent the trailer until 8 AM.

Do not process a trailer rental eleven days before its return. I asked at Home Hardware that the invoice not be processed on my Visa, since I knew it would not cover eleven days of rental. I wished to pay by debit when I returned the trailer. Unfortunately, U-Haul put the charge, in advance, on my Visa, causing an overdraft charge of $29. I still have not received this refund, despite your promise to so.

Staff should devote full attention to the U-Haul customer and not deal with other customers. Time spent for pickup and drop off was far greater than other U-Haul locations.

Our Home address was wrong,our home phone number was wrong,our email address was wrong on our invoice. Hardware called to change this on Oct 22 but We stillhaven't received a corrected invoice.

Wheel lock ratchet straps are a bear to operate need a better system ..have used these trailers a few times and always the same they tie down car well but a fight to get on tight and worse to get back off .

I was very disappointed that we picked the truck up at closing Wed night and returned it first thing Friday morning and still got charged a two day rental. Also not knowing if the truck you reserved is actually going to be available on your moving day is very unnerving.

The rental and return process was long and tedious due to the dysfunctional computer booking process. The staff were friendly and apologetic - but I spent far too much time in the booking AND the return process. UHaul needs to sort out its computer system. Assigning the fault to "students going back to College" is weak.

The rental trailer lights worked fine, but at the first turn on the road with a slight bump on the road, the trailer wiring shorted out my turn signals fuse. I replaced the fuse and lights worked again only to happen again at the first road irregularity. This time, not only was the fuse blown, but my other lights did not work either. I took my vehicle to the FORD dealer where they diagnosed that a short circuit in the trailer burned out the FORD trailer Converter module ( which cost me $173 to replace). This was the second time I have ever pulled a trailer with this vehicle, so the Converter module in the car was new. I already informed the Gananoque, ON location where they took note of the problem. Secondly, the UHaul computer program incorrectly billed more than double the 13% Taxes we pay in Ontario. I tried phoning UHaul but was on hold for 17 minutes before I hung up. I then tried the chat, and after a while your UHaul chat representative (Ingrid) was online, where I explained the overcharging problem. After a while, she was quite rude and indicated there was nothing she could do and abruptly terminated the session without any sort of explanation or allowing me to ask some further details or any other issue. Frankly a unsatisfactory treatment and response considering she is a U Haul representative dealing with customers! I am frankly offended to get treated this way. Thank you

The staff was completely incompetent. I did not receive the truck size I had requested. And the truck was not clean; they had me sign the contract before showing me the state of the truck. The staff told me that the U-Haul computer process was always a nightmare for them. But on top of the complication of the computer system, they were incompetent.

The person who took my information over the phone did not take the time to confirm my name and spelled it completely wrong. It caused a big issue when trying to obtain my truck to take back to Kingston to then move back to Brampton. Instead of this process taking 20 minutes, it took an hour. After giving my name to the attendant 4x they still spelled both my first and last name wrong. They also told me I'd be entitled to a $100 refund for my deposit and when I went to the drop-off location they said this was not true.

Took 2 days to do all the info fr the computer. Came in Sunday night to book and hopefully take that night since we wanted to b on the road at 6 am. Took an hr to register and was not allowed to take vehicle. Next day came in the earliest they would let me, 8 am. Then more registering and was finally on the road at 8:30am. That is unacceptable.... I even tried to do paper wrk on line and that did not go thru. Other than the terrible start everything else was fine.
