I rented a 15' moving truck and drove it a total of 25 miles. Upon return, I was told I was going to be charged for 5.5 gallons of gas! The employee and then a manager said I had agreed to the initial estimated reading and now they were making the final estimated reading. I noted that the small gauge only had 1/4 full markings and for me or them to be able to tell the difference between 1/8s, or 1/16th, differences was ridiculous. I noted that while they too were just guessing about the readings between the tick marks the odometer did not lie. Unless the truck only got 4.5 MPG, there is no way I used 5.5 gallons of gas. The manage refused to address/answer that question. In the end I suspect that little gouge is part of either the stores general practice of the company as a whole. I was also told I would be charged 25 dollars if I did not fold the moving blanks. I assume that little added charge catches everyone who does after hour drop offs. I certainly will never return to that UHAUL location and maybe UHAUL in general. I think there is a clear business practice of advertising a low daily rate and then running up added charges. My 15' truck rental for 25 miles total ended up costing $150+

My 20ft truck was definitely clean and performed well, however the alignment was pretty far off. It caused some issues on very tight corners going to my neighborhood, so had to take it very slow and easy, while causing a ruckus with neighbors waiting patiently for me to complete the turn with poor turning radius on the right versus the left. Other than that, the staff was wonderful, helpful, speedy, responsive and amazing. I highly recommend this location!

Small thing—the truck was sitting idling and no one told me it was ready to go. I stood around a few minutes until I noticed the unit number matched my invoice. I checked the load area and the pads and dolly were already loaded. I just wished someone took 15 seconds to let me know.

The sign said to proceed up to a stop sign for trailers, but I did not see the stop sign. No one was around, so I had to remove and store the trailer myself. Other than that, everything was fine.

Did not have the best experience with Uhaul. I was supposed to pick up the truck originally at 12pm from A1 Mailbox store and when I got there at 2 I was told the truck was not there! I was told that the truck was supposed to be there at 11 but the guy never showed up. I was then told that they could call another location and I could pick it up from there which was the location on Snouffer School road. Before I left the guy at A1 told me that the other location would credit me the $50 fee for the guaranteed reservation. When I finally arrived at the other location on Snouffer School Road, I was told they would not be able to credit me the $50 and that I needed to call customer service. Finally, the manager whose name I believe is Will got everything figured out and was able to provide me with the service I should have received from the beginning. So thank you to Will and the other guys at the front desk for helping change this experience for me. I have always gone with Uhaul when moving but this experience was extremely disappointing.

I received several texts and emails the day before my reservation, all with different times listed to pick up the truck, none correct. I finally called and they said the truck I had reserved for 9am wasn't available until 5:30 pm, which would have done me no good at all. I accepted a van instead of the truck I reserved. The following day, I plugged the address from the email into my gps, but once I got there, it was the wrong location. I called the number from the email, and the man who answered the phone was annoyed and gave the most useless directions I've ever heard "just back out and look for a green awning" Back... Out.. Where? What? Finally just asked for the right address and followed the gps to the actual location. Picking up the van was fine, using the van was fine. When I returned it, someone handed me a broom. The bill was about double what I expected so I asked to see the receipt. Again, the person at the counter was put out and annoyed, even though I was the only person in the store. Overall, the people I dealt with and the service I received was awful. I'll go somewhere else next time.

I made a reservation that was confirmed for 530 at the park lawn location and they told me they did not have the truck when I arrived. I never received any notifications that I had to pick up the truck at the Gaithersburg location and when I got there the woman who helped me was extremely rude. You as a company need to learn what it means to make reservation and keep a reservation.

The customer service experience at this location is the absolute worst. I refueled the cargo van that I rented and placed it back to the level that it was at when I picked up the van. I dropped it off early over night and took a picture showing the final mileage and gas gauge. They claimed when they got the vehicle back, the gas gauge was a quarter tank less than what my picture shows. When I told the representative at the location about this he gave me an attitude, said that it wasn't at that level I told him it shows in the picture and then said I need to deal with Corporate on this issue. HOW CAN YOU DISPUTE WHAT CLEARLY SHOWS IN THE PICTURE??? I will never rent from this Uhaul ever again. BEWARE....always take pictures of any and everything if you deal with this location

The Uhaul agent was rude, and offered no apology to me regarding renting a cargo van. I showed her confirmation that I ordered the van but was given the 10 foot truck instead because as she said " we don't rent our vans for one way trips". Then why was it an option online when I clearly stated it was for a one way rental??? Her attitude was very nonchalant and I will never utilize this location again.
