I received no help in connecting the auto carrier at the pick up point. Also, there was some damage to a cable and to one of the fenders on the unit. No one assisted in noting the issues nor was any one available to instruct on the correct way to connect the trailer and chains to the vehicle hitch. When I dropped off the trailer they were very helpful in the correct way to use the auto carrier as well as how the chains should have been routed and used properly. They also indicated that someone should have inspected my trailer hitch to ensure that it was correct for the job (it was and is - but again, no help on the pick up side).

The online renting process was tedious especially because I still had to wait in line for a key, which the employee couldn’t find. From start to finish it took me almost 40 minutes to pick up my truck. Very disappointing.

Even though I had reserved the truck online, I was surprised to find that I needed to remove the options I didn't want from the transaction and provide credit card information. It was as if I hadn't provided anything more than my name and address.

The person acted as if he had no clue of what was going on. As a matter of fact he actually told us that wasn't the location for the drop off because he couldn't find my name in his system. My son got upset and told him that we have a contract on the contract it was his name and address. He took the contract and went to the computer and then come back and say I had to do a search and I find your name so this is the location. He doesn't need to be doing this kind of job if he doesn't know how to do it or how to treat customers.

When I dropped off the truck, I had a question about the furniture pads (see previous comment) so the employee at the drop off location looked up my order. He then informed me that, according to what he pulled up, I had a tardy drop off. This was impossible as I returned it on Sunday afternoon and had until Monday morning to do so. I asked for clarification and he couldn't give me any so I asked if I should call the 800 number or if he had a more direct line to U-Haul to get clarification. He didn't answer for several minutes as he continued to click through something on the screen. Finally, he told me I should do that so I thanked him and immediately left. I called and the 800 number customer service rep had no idea where the store employee saw that and assured me that my return was on time so it was just an inconvenience to have to call and wait on hold to find out nothing was wrong.

I was not notified of the change in location for 3 days. The locaton change did not make sense because it was less than 1 mile from an actual Uhaul Store that would have had everything I asked for. The location I was sent to did not have the dozen blankets I ordered.

When I arrived at UHaul of Frederick, my original pick up location, I found that my reserved trailer had been rented someone else. I then had to drive 30 Miles to the Gaithersburg location to get what I needed.

I returned the truck around 5:30pm and was told that they would Check it in later. They never checked the truck in that evening, leaving me potentially liable for vandalism and abusive charges; next time use online return!!

I signed up for a truck at my neighborhood rental in King Farm. But with ZERO notification I was moved to one 15 mins away and had to get an Uber. I tried contacting customer support to try to move it back before hand but was on hold for 18 mins and had to give up. The gentleman working at the Gaithersburg location I did pick it up at was friendly and helpful. The truck I order was not available but he found a bigger one ehich worked out. That truck was dirty with trash, socks and glass but he tried to accommodate me. So I am happy with him. But am very upset with everything else. I have alway used Uhaul when I move. I expected more from a once trusted company.

This is a small U Hall facility which is located in a strip mall and was a little difficult to identify the location. The staff was professional, friendly and understood what I needed. The equipment was typical U-Haul equipment well maintained and in excellent working order.
