The U-Haul rental pick up was at a gas station. There was only one employee working there, so he had to deal with customers purchasing gas or cigarettes etc. He also had to deal with releasing the vehicle to me. It took approximately 20 25 minutes to drive out of there with the rental. I will not go back there.

Not a great location to get the uhaul rental. It is in a busy gas station and the place where they kept the truck is very small, hard to turn around if you get a 17' uhaul. Also, the gas tank were only half, which it supposed to be full, this would make gas filling work harder as you won't know how much you should fill back. I ended up fill more than I should. Poor maintenance. Not a good location to rent from

Nothing at this locatation, it was great. But at 19034 Montgomery Village Ave, Gaithersburg. Where I had a reservation #24460161. Was not honored or in system. The person had a lot if issues. Not happy at all. I had to go to other store

Not a positive UHaul experience... the truck was dirty inside and the roof was damaged in 3 places which was a huge issue as it rained the entire time we had the rental to move our household. I rented a truck so I didn’t have to worry about the rain... never thinking that I would have a truck that was damaged and leaked! I had reserved 2 hand carts and they had “none available” when I got to the location so they tried to charge me more for an appliance dolly. They acted annoyed that I pushed back and acted like it was my fault and that I had done something wrong... when I made the reservation! I expect more from a company like UHaul then the service I received... if I wanted to deal with rude employees, a damaged and dirty truck, and not getting what I had reserved a week in advance I would have gone to a competitor at a cheaper price!! So not impressed or pleased with the service I received. Would NOT recommend this location!!

Your website is awful. It's impossible to tell what locations have what equipment, and as a result I went to three different agents that did not even carry the equipment I needed. Not good.

The truck was not available at the requested time; in fact I had to wait 35 minutes for the previous customer to bring it back making me miss the closing time for a drop off that I needed the truck for. I now have to rent one tomorrow to get what I needed done today. It should be made crystal clear to customers that return times are flexible.

We reserved a 15 foot truck, one dozen moving blankets, one utility dolly, and two furniture dollys. When I arrived to pick everything up, I was told they only had a half dozen blankets, and just the one utility dolly, with no furniture dollys and six less blankets than ordered. I was told to drive to another location to see if they had any furniture dollys, so I went to one a mile and a half away, and had no luck. I then called an actual U-Haul store in my area (not a dealer), and they didn’t have any either. The lack of these items cost us crucial time when trying to move all our items, and we ended up having to pay the movers for an extra half hour, and still had to unload a majority of the truck ourselves after they left. It is a bad business practice to offer key moving items, have customers count on them being there the day of their move, and not providing those items when the customer shows up. Very unsatisfactory.

Vehicle was not cleaned by previous customer, there was lots of dirt and broken glass in the cargo area of the van. Additionally, the moving blankets were filthy and full of dust, leaves, and construction/sheetrock debris. For a rental item, these were not something that I wanted to put on my clean furniture, and feel these were a waste of money for the use I got out of them.

The Uhaul truck they rented to me was below awful. I had to ride with the windows down because the smell gave me nausea. It was never cleaned out. Food on the floor. Residue from a drink was spilled on the dash and the cup was still in there. There was dried mud in the back and painting material - tarp and buckets. And I was told to just leave it on the side. I would have refused the rental had I not been in a time crunch. To complete my trek I had a friend rent from another location. If I could rate this lower or negative stars I would. I wish I could attach pictures to show how bad it was. Someone needs to give me a call regarding this experience.

Truck was dirty when I received it and was in the same condition when I dropped it off. During the checkout interview, I shouldn't have been asked if it was dirty or clean. If I selected dirty, I would have to pay a $25 cleaning fee for someone else's mess. Therefore, the return interview should refer back to the initial interview (I reported the truck was dirty) to address this issue. No one is going to take the time and clean up the previous renter's mess.

The truck was late being returned from the previous user (like an hour and a half!), but that's not the business's fault. The man there was very polite and tried to find another option, even showing me the next largest vehicle available. The truck ended up coming back while I was there, fortunately. He then allowed me to use the furniture pads I'd requested free of charge as way of an apology for the truck being late. Everything was professionally and easy-going at the same time. I had great experience overall.
