The entire place needs attention. The staff in understaffed, not professional looking or helpful. I did not get a walk thru or a checklist. The girl helping me had to charge me an extra $27.07 . She did not know why. I still don't know why.. I would like my $27.07 credited back to me with an explanation. I was sure to let the drop off place know my terrible experience at the pick up place. This is the second time I have had problems with U-haul... Not very pleased with U-haul and would like some satisfaction....

The 20' truck we picked up only had 1/4 tank of gas. We shouldn't have to go fill it up before we can do what we need. That is additional mileage against us right off the bat. I had pre registered all the information except a copy of our DL. Once we got to the location, it wasn't in there, so Keesha had to reenter it all, then it didn't save and she had to do it again.

This experience was horrible. I originally reserved the truck for 12 hours. I was told that being a saturday night that if I returned it that evening I would have to park the truck across the street because they would have no room for it since they were doing an auction that night. I then asked for the truck to be returned the following morning and was given this whole speech about checking in online and dropping the key in the deposit box. This is not the first time I have rented a Uhaul. She then proceeded to want to charge me double what I was expecting since I made an online reservation. My reservation was for a truck for $29 and she told me that since it was the weekend that I was going to be charged $59 for the truck. I explained to her that this is not what my reservation said and after she made a call to a field manager she figured out that she was trying to rent me the truck for 2 days not 1. She changed that information and proceeded with the contract. My choices were to pay with debit card or pay cash. If I paid cash then she was going to expect a $100 for a deposit on the truck. By paying with my debit card I was charged $9.27 for the convenience of them using Square to run their card purchases since they were not going to pay that charge. I run my own my small business and use Square to run debit/ credit cards. I know for fact that when I run a card I do not pay 3.5% per card transaction since I have a card reader. I felt like I was taken advantage of being charged so much for using my card when I was given little choice in the matter. This place seems to care more for selling junk they do renteing trucks. They did not have their information correct and seemed to not really know what they were doing with truck rental. I was in their for almost an hour trying to get a truck rented that I had already reserved online with all my pertinent information. I will not rent a truck from them again if I can help it and I will not reccomend anyone going to them for a truck. This palce is disorganized and rips people off for a few bucks at a time.

The rental office and staff were great, my problem was with uhaul, not the local office. U-Haul never confirmed my reservation and I didn’t get the size truck I reserved. I was given a fuel credit by the rental office and U-Haul did not give it to me on my final invoice.

Business was over an hour late opening, even given its normally restrictive business hours. One of the tires on the tow dolly was very low on air, not noticeable until after loading the vehicle. I had to drive very slowly to a gas station to air it up. I never requested, was asked, or informed that I was paying for insurance until after I received my receipt online. I have very good auto insurance that covers rental equipment, therefore would have declined it and saved the needless $8.00 fee.
