I did request an Appliance dolly, but the location did not have one on site. I ended up having to purchase one for the move. Not as I expected.

The people at Payne's are extremely kind. We had zero problems with them. But, I had to go into the office because it wouldn't work through my phone. Then, the UHAUL representative called me and asked if my husband was allowed to be a driver (even though I put him on there the day before), I answered the question and then she just hung up on me. The real kicker was that I had also reserved a dolly and a furniture cart and Payne's didn't have either one. Fortunately, we were able to find one from a friend, but we wouldn't have been able to move our heavy dressers and armoire without one. The location should have had the truck AND the equipment that I reserved.

When I reserved this truck the quote was $44 and change, 20 cents a mile. When I picked it up the mileage charge was 79 cents a mile. I tried to find the email I was sent but it disappeared. Now we only used the truck for less than5 hours and returned it at that time with only about 10 miles registered. I have yet to receive the amount I was actually charged or acknowledgement of the trucks return.

Maybe include the dolly for in the reservation price? I didn't need packing blankets, but I really could've used a dolly for my furniture and it just wasn't in the budget.

The complete experience was very good. The equipment was in good condition and the people were pleasant and helpful.
Customer service via phone call was terrible. I was to pick up truck Friday evening using self pick up, the system wasn't working and not allowing me to continue self pick up process. I called the 800 number for assistance and the agent was rude and the least helpful person I've ever spoken with. Was told to return to pick up site the next morning to speak with the locations agent. I asked about my rental time and if I would be charged or receive an adjustment for the loss of time, the agent on the phone told me that I would not be allowed extra time and would still be charged the full rate.
We reserved an appliance dolly, but did not receive it for some reason.
Attendant had major issues with Uhauls computer program and tried several times to rent my truck to me and had to make a call to get it figured out. Complained about the program being changed all the time The truck I rented wasnot what I asked for and shouldnot have been allowed to travel as far as it did. I have driven better trash trucks. Plus had to drive an extra 25 miles to get it. Yes they gave extra miles and an extra day.
The trailer had dirt and leaves in the back. Also, one of the tires had to be replaced and I drove to 2 other different locations to get the tire replaced. Poor customer service. Will never rent from them again and actually I am considering looking for someone else than U-Haul on my next move.

They did not have the plug in attachment for the trailer, Told us we would have to go buy one at auto parts store. A uhaul man with a truck happened to be there and sold us one. If they are renting the trailers they should have the attachment required for them. The trailers hitch was laying on the ground was not on a jack. Had to be picked up by hand to be put on truck hitch, no help from personel. My husband knows how to hook up a trailer, so no problem, but if somebody doesn't that would be a problem. Very unprofessional uhaul place.
The rental place was so full of smoke I smelled like I'd smoked a pack or two myself. It was so smoky I had to keep stepping out of the office until it was my turn to get the paper work done. Second hand smoke holds no appeal for me. And on top of that, the air conditioner didn't work in the truck so it made for an uncomfortable hot noisy ride.
I had a friend pick up the trailer and was told that if I used the express check in, all my friend would have to do is sign the paper. When he got there he was told that it is impossible to prepay online, and he had to pay himself. Not sure what kind of miscommunication happened but it was kind of inconvenient.
