A tremendously long line for everyone that made prior reservations. The location was unorganized and the staff yelled at each other. Airport security is faster than waiting for a confirmed reserved truck here at Uhaul....

I returned the truck around 4PM on 08/13. As the lady at counter was busy and I had waited like 15 minutes I asked her if I could just drop the keys and she'd check in the truck after she is done she said yes. But the truck was not checked in so I called around 7PM. Then I called in the morning (08/14) around 8AM and talked to someone at the store and she said they'd take care of it right away. 11AM - nothing so I called store again but it went to customer service. She claimed she had left an urgent message and store would call me back ASAP. 3PM nothing so then I decided to go to the store and find out. The guy at the counter said OK I'll take care of it. When I asked about all previous calls and no response his response was "like I said I was not here so don't know"!! I asked him who answers the call here and he nodded I don't know!!!!!! This is just unbelievable, I wonder how would they respond if there is an emergency and I need to be in touch???

Everything went smoothly, from the rental of everything to the condition and dependability of the equipment. My only negative experience was the cashier was apparently new and I had to sign the same form multiple times because he kept doing it wrong. He also didn't add my drop-off location where I intended to go with it, 10 hours away, so there was confusion with the company as to why I did that. I don't know why I'd rent a truck and bring it back to the same place? Other than that, wonderful equipment!

This location was the worst uhaul location I have used this far. They only had person assisting with equipment check ins and outs. The one person assisting with this took 10-15 min a person. I waited in line for 40 minutes before another uhaul employee walk into store and told everyone they did not need to wait to drop off equipment.

The vehicle I had this weekend was the most worn vehicle I have ever rented from UHaul. I don't think it was representative of the location and was fully functional. It was just a little more 'used'.

Initially, I was told that there was no truck for 7am on 8/11 and had to make numerous calls. Finally a rep up in Harrisburg was able to help.

Used this location a few times. THIS time I was charged for TWO rental periods instead of one. I even hooked up and dropped the trailer from and to it's parking spaces. On the return time it seems someone forgot to process my return at the end of the first day and set the return time nearly 3 hours into the next working day. Check the cameras please. The U-haul employee was handed the electronic adaptor from me and told me "I was good" and "I didn't need to do anything else". Now i'm questioning if I reviewed my previous purchases properly if this is just the common thing to do if they just neglect an activity. Perhaps if UHAUL has this problem they should start using smart tags and barcodes on the equipment and just scan it so it's much easier for the employees and fool proof.

I rent regularly and have for years now. Ever since new management has taken over there is constant turn over in the staff. The staff is not trained. They are always short staff. Many times I have to hook my own trailer up. When I return after hours the lot is so full of returns it is difficult maneuver my vehicle and trailer. The employees that are there deal with the lack of training and being under staffed as best they can. They are to be commended for making the best of a tough situation. Bring back Russ. The young man receiving the 6 by 12 trailer wanted to send me my receipt by email without even seeing the trailer or apartment and did not inquire about the one way trip trailer. I had to ask where to drop the trailer and then he began asking more appropriate questions. He lead me to the back to drop the trailer and I returned to the office and patiently waited for a receipt. It was also difficult navigating the driveway entrance due to parked customer vehicles. I would suggest some coaching to improve.

U-Haul lies in its marketing material (and the insesent ads you are forced to listen to on hold). I attempted to change my reservation (as your website and hold advertisements state you can) and was told that the location I rented my trailer from owner the equipment and if I didn’t return it there it would be reported stolen to the police. The person at the store told me I could change the drop off location and transferred me to ‘Uhaul’ and my sitting on hold nightmare began. When I called the Frederick location back after 10 mins on hold I ask for a manger and the woman promptly transferred me back to ‘Uhaul’ where I sat on hold. Experience was terrible. How likely is it do you think I will rent from Uhaul again???? You do have competition.....

This U-Haul location has the worst customer service of any business I know. They block the entire driveway with trucks and personal vehicles, all day, EVERY day. My parents have never once been able to access their "outside, 24/7 accessible" storage unit when they arrive because the employees illegally park in front of it. This time, I was renting a truck for moving; I had a question about my reservation and tried to call 6 different times, never getting an answer. Once I waited on the line for over 20 minutes and no one ever picked up the phone as it rang and rang. The truck I reserved was "around here somewhere" and eventually they couldn't find the keys anywhere so they gave me a different truck with a different contact. Who knows if I'll be charged twice?! When I finally got my truck, I asked 3 times to be sure they gave me the appliance dolly I rented - only to get home and go to load my washing machine and discover they gave me the tiny utility dolly. I had to go all the way back to the store on a busy moving day to swap it, and found a line of 20 customers waiting to be helped in a line that never moved. I finally gave up and went outside to find a dolly myself and found an employee outside who let me switch them. Unbelievably bad service. I will never rent from this facility again.

One glitch with billing: I got an e-mail invoice for charges that I hadn't incurred that were automatically put on my credit card. I went over to the office the next day and it was cleared up courteously and quickly.

When I went to location, I wating in line for 1 hour behind 5 people. Uhaul only had 1 employee at the counter assisting. It was stated that the store manager was onsite however was loading a truck. We were provided a discount which was appreciated however; the location appeared to be poorly managed.
