My original pre-paid confirmed pickup location was Big Boyz Toyz. If someone at U-Haul corporate has not visited Big Boyz Toyz, they really should, it was 'unique' in a bad way. After telling me he did not have the trailer. He recommended that I call U-Haul. I went out to my truck, locked my doors and called. Very pleasant call and I was directed to pickup a trailer in Florence, MS. I traveled there, saw my trailer, but no one was there? A phone # was on the door which I called multiple times with no answer, prior to calling U-Haul again. After getting off the call, trying again to call the number there and I called U-Haul back, I was finally able to take the trailer and 'check it out' over the phone. This whole process took over three hours. I was not a happy camper, then I got to go load the trailer and drive three hours. The 6x12 trailer performed fine, but it did not have running lights? By the way, when the A&B Mini Storage person called me back after I had hooked up the trailer, I did say it would be great if someone was there to okay the way I had hooked it up. She said if I wanted someone else to hook it up it would be a $20 fee which she said was in the contract. I told that to the person who was 'checking me out' for U-Haul over the phone - she was shocked and said that was not the case. So no one was even at A&B Mini Storage. I was a bit concerned traveling with only an email as my paper work, but it did work.

Have better internet. The vehicle was not well maintained. I had to use a towel to keep the dashboard from rattling. The engine noise from the fan was unbearable at times. The air-conditioning went out in midland Texas and came back on in Deming New Mexico. Yes it was nota good trip. The U-Haul place in pearl ms was extremely helpful in getting us started. They took over when a&b couldn't get internet. The vehicle was clean.

Customer Service was Outstanding "Becky" had the truck road ready. We had some computer issues that were worked through in a jiffy and I was on the road in no time. I did not have any issues but if she had not been doing the due diligence my trip could very well had come out different, Thanks Becky!!

U-haul first messed up by not notifying me that my truck would not be available at my preferred location (about 1-2 miles from my home) but at a location 15-20 miles from my home. This was the place selected. I arrived shortly after 8am and upon calling the number listed on the door the owner opened the door and three dogs came running out (one a pitbull). It appeared as though the owner had just woken up or was under the influence of something. I was then told my truck did not have the equipment I requested. I mentioned there was a utility dolly in the back, and the owner did not bother to verify. Overall an extremely negative experience and I strongly recommend against using this place.

We reserved this trailer 2 months ago to be picked up in Pearl, MS. We received an e-mail telling us to pick up in Florence, MS, 11 miles away. Were it not for Becky, U haul would have redirected us to God knows where. This is the third time this company has done us this way. Our drop off information was also not updated per our request. Although it costs us no extra, it could have. Also, we turned the trailer in a say early and were not credited for the early return. This will be our last experience with U-Haul.

Pick up took roughly 45 minutes. The two guys who were taking my information had no clue what they were doing. We finally got all of my information entered into the computer and the could not print, nor email me a receipt. Went outside to hook up the trailer and noticed one tire was seperated and the other was extremely dry rotted. Had to call a tore guy and wait over an hour for them to come replace the tires before i could load the trailer. Trailer should have been inspected and ready before i arrived.

After over 30 min on hold your customer service office never answered my call. In addition, all this time was spent at the uhaul drop off location where we were trying to drop your equipment. Now, 20 days later you bill me additional fees that should have been taken care of the day the rental was dropped. Just horrible service and I will not use again nor recommend to my family and friends!

Alter method of scheduling equipment. Prefer contacting individual dealer near my location & work out as needed to locate equipment. Also, too much information required up front just to gather basic information on equipment I may need???
