On 1/13/18 we rented a uhaul trailer from Riders Automotive LLC. We returned trailer on time. We were charged the agreed upon amount of $20.08 on 1/18/18 from our debt card on file. The problem is that there is an additional $20.00 on hold from Uhaul/Riders Automotive on our card. We have the transaction ID from our bank proving that Riders Automotive has this hold on our account but the merchant continues to deny this hold. We contacted Uhaul customer service, who in turn contacted Riders Automotive and took their word that there is no hold on our account even though we have proof. The guy that we have spoken to on 3 occasions at Riders Automotive can barely figure out how to turn his computer on, much less figure out how he placed a hold on our account and/or remove it. Buyer/Renter beware that Uhaul is not who you actually are dealing with when you rent their equipment and if the merchant you choose messes up your bank account Uhaul will NOT fix it!!!! We can't even dispute the transaction with our bank because the payment is 'pending'. What a joke. 30 days they have kept our money with no resolution in site.

This place was scary, dirty, nasty and couldn't believe it was a U-haul place. The people were very nice but that was it. We had to wait for them to get into the U-haul system. Then they pulled the furniture pads out of an old broken down box truck, and just gave them to us. asked where is the U-haul truck, they told us we had to drive around back to get it. REALLY!!! That truck should have been upfront waiting for us. This wasn't a U-haul place. The back of the truck was dirty, and there was a spit-cup still in the front of the truck. REALLY!!!! Nasty!

Lot is in terrible shape. No help from staff in hooking trailer up. Turns out my left blinker was not working when I left the lot. I returned the trailer to this location per staff, but got charged extra for not taking it to 4425 Dixie Highway!

We called the location and district manager to make them aware of situation. Nothing was done about it. My wife who is 47 came in to rent the trailer and first the building was hard to identify since there was no markings on building and NO uhauls in front on this building. The building is real run down and whole lot full of broken down vehicles. Only way knew was right place was because there was a orange drop box that said drop uhaul keys here. When we rented signed paper and they said , pull back out onto main road then take the next driveway up and they uhauls are all back there. Okay so I assumed someone would meet her to load for her. She looked around and no one was around so she didn't want to drive back around and ask for help; she doesn't ask for help. She lifted the car dolly and felt a pull in back. The dolly is heavy and it took her a while to load since no one helped her. She then realized she was in a lot of pain. She had MRI done and has bulging disc and tears by her l3-l4 and l4-l5. District manager said they not had complaints on this location. Why would a woman have to ask 2 grown men to help her? Why would it not be a policy to ask can we help you load? Why would you not show customers how it works? Especially a woman. When I called the shop the guy said well all she had to do was ask! I said you don't ask women if they need help? He was like um, I guess not. Ridiculous

Your corporate rates are double that of penske. Your customer service representatives are a bit lacking in their people skills,not all of them.

Horrible customer service, no help hooking up, didn't have running lights because the hook up was bolted to the frame, I was moving at night , didn't know it was illegal to not have running lights, I was completely set up for failure. Thankfully I didn't get pulled over by the cops. Horrible service, no help, will NOT return.

I was scheduled for a pick up at Riders Automotive at 8am. I arrived only to find out that they didn't open until 9. When I called my nearest uhaul location they said there was nothing they could to and I would just have to wait for them to open because they couldn't help me. Then the person who was supposed to open riders automotive was late.

I was given a trailer with a defective hitch which resulted in me waiting on the side if the road for three hours for Uhaul to fix and then subsequently tow the trailer.

Take this person off of your vendor list. I paid for 4 hours of time and chose a pickup time of 1:00 on the uhaul website. I had the trailer back before 5:00, but this location is an auto body shop that closes at 3:00. That's fine. I left the trailer back where I got it, swept it out, and even chalked the wheels. According to the receipt I just received, the owner did not check the trailer back in until 2 days later and charged me triple for the rental. They have a pickup time as late as 2:00, even though they are only open until 3:00, and then hike fees on your customers. I have rented with uhaul 5 times in the past year, but I will never rent with you again until this is fixed. The owner of this shop is cheating and robbing your customers. It is fraud.
