Make sure they have the equipment requested during the time of pickup and not be charge when the equipment isn't with the vehicle. Therefore my suggestion is to also have a question on the self checkin sight to verify your customers have your equipment as well as the vehicle so the person don't get charged foe something I ordered but didn't get. My experience with Uhaul has been absolutely horrible!!!! By far this has been my worse online experience to date. On July 15th I made an online reservation with Uhaul for a 15 foot truck with 24/7 mobile pickup to be picked up on Saturday, July 20th at 8am. The entire ordeal was COMPLETELY unorganized. By Saturday, my pick up location had been changed 4 times. I couldn't get verified online and was on the phone with several different agents for over an hour. I ended up having to go to an inside facility and my reservation was changed so much that I got the truck 3 hours after my initial reservation time. Due to this unfortunate incident, I missed my move in appointment for my new appartment and was caused considerable distress.Desiree M.
This trailer and transaction were a problem. Broke a leaf spring in Flagstaff and had to call roadside repair. Trailer had lurched hard when spring broke and had to be repacked costing me a full day. Once on the road again, it was obvious that the repair was a "patch job" and the trailer fought me the rest of the trip. Gas mileage dropped from 14 mpg to 9 mpg with the trailer bucking on the tow ball and swaying over 50mph. When I arrived at the dealer to drop off, they were not open despite posted hours. I disconnected and parked the trailer in their yard and waited. When he arrived he wanted me to reconnect it and take it to another dealer! 3 hours later I left with no reciept; the dealer had not even inspected the trailer (I took pics before leaving). I have been back two times to get a reciept but the door was locked and nobody answered. As a recurring occasional use customer, I see the value in renting your equipment as opposed to owning a trailer. But this trip has made me re-think that. It cost me hundreds of dollars in hotel, meals, additional gas, and an additional lost day of work. Add to that the frustration of several hours just trying to return it and get reimbursed for expenses as promised by customer service. I was offered repayment for the room and our meal that night but have been unable to reach customer service since dropping off the trailer. Wait times on hold a erage 15-20 minutes each time I have called. I am VERY disappointed and unhappy at this point.Ari R.

The trailer had debri in it still. The employee insisted on hooking up the trailer and did it completely wrong. The second I pulled out of the driveway the trailer unhooked and drugg on the road. I would never go back again!Anthony W.

T he truck need a thorough cleaning. I am not sure if there are bugs in the cab or chemical used on the seat belt. Probably bugs. I am broke out on my neck and across my chest where the seat belt was. I turned the truck in the next day and was overcharged. then after the correct charges were applied and this made my account go into the negative. I am still waiting fro the charges to be credited back to my account. I am really upset about this. Then to top it off. My sister was called 2 days later and asked if I had turned in the truck. I chose this location because it was close to the house I was moving out of to save mileage from renting at a location near my house. When I spoke to Tori I asked for pricing of the trucks. She did say she had a 20" footer for 39.95 I asked her if it was per day or total for the three days I was renting. She said total for the days.Now when I look at my e mail I see that I was charges 39.95 a day. If I had known that I would have only had it for a day and moved what wouldn't fit in the truck in my suv and my husband truck and trailer. I did get credit for mileage which did bring my bill down from 274.89 to 218.00 . Tori was nice and pleasant but was having problems with her computer which was not her fault and she did keep saying she was sorry it was taking so long . Thank You Kathryn Allnuttkathryn A.
Was charged a cleaning fee. There was nothing to clean-swept out bed after use. No food or drink in cab of truck. Swept it out. Charged excess $/mile after having paid in advance. Was charged for nearly 70 miles but moved only 3 trips from storage bldg. to house and only 10 miles round trip. My mother used another location on Grove St @6 months ago and had it from Fri-Sun and was about same distance and was less than $60. This "W and D Auto Sales" was a rip off.Katye N.
