They aren't knowledgeable but they are the only one in town. The truck ramp broke and I spent an hour an a alf fixing it and they offered no compensation I was also charged for more fuel than I thought was reasonable

The transmission of the truck was not in good order. It struggled to get out of first gear every time I accelerated. On top of that the battery died twice, which ended up wasting a lot of my time trying to find people to jump it. Ended up having to leave it running so that the battery wouldn’t die. Giving two stars instead of one because in the end it did get the job done. I explain the situation to true value, but they did not offer a discount.

The customer services at this location was sub-par, they are not helpful or friendly at all. When reserving, picking up the truck and dropping it off the interactions with them took about 20-30 minutes every time, which cut into the time I had reserved the truck for and the time I had left over afterward to take care of anything else with the move. The driver's side door handle was also broken and wouldn't open the door, so I had to get in and out of the passenger's door every time. There was a twix bar wrapper sitting in the cab of the truck when we got in, it obviously hadn't been cleaned.

They tried to charge us an extra day, even though the contract lady on the phone reservation said we sould not have to pay. In the end, the check in guy let it go.

Problem with driver door, but they let me know ahead of time, so it was fine. Had a 15 ft truck with pretty small load, and was surprised/disappointed it took 28 gallons of gas to cover 270 miles. I didn't even run the AC. Will know next time to find someone with a truck to pull a trailer behind.

Mobile check in when dropping off was very long and cumbersome. Make sure the person renting knows what to do when they return the vehicle after hours.

U-Haul staff Stephanie was very nice & helpful. Id like to recommend her to another customers. The only problem was the nobody answers phone calls. Up front staffs don't transfer phone calls.

did not explain anything about rental equipment, when I have mentioned that this was my 1st time renter; the fuel tank must be fully filled otherwise a customer will be charges at higher rate

This location was not the location that I originally reserved. The day before I was scheduled to pick up, I received a call that the truck was in Fairfield - one hour away from my actual location. So I had to spend 2 hours just picking this thing up. I received no reimbursement for the waste of my time, mileage and gas on my personal car, or the inconvienece to the individual who volunteered to help me. I will not use u-haul again after this.

Was charged for things I didnt get. They changed my reservation time twice before they finally gave me a time to pick up the uhaul. Was charged in extra miles because I had to drop it off from where I picked it up and wasnt allowed to drop it off at my final destination because I was told it was their personal truck and I should be allowed to drop it off at any uhaul.

Was supposed to wait for personel to drop off my trailer but didn't have the time because I had to travel back to where I came from.. I dropped it and called later and they had no problem processing/finishing everything. Very friendly, totally the opposite of my pick-up.

The ramp on a 26ft truck should be twice as long as the current ones. I find it puzzling that there are longer ramps on the short trucks.

Gas was just a tad low and we got charged $16 plus we got it back 1 day ahead of time but no refund. Think uhaul should compensate something... even a small refund would be better than nothing.
