It was raining, I had to walk back and forth across a 5 lane road in the rain. The hitch was in the mud so by the time I was done hooking up the trailer my hands were filthy. My feet were soaking wet from the mud and standing water on the lot. I'm not really sure what the point was to the pre-check-in because it still took quite a while to get it done. The lady working was very friendly and helpful. My overall experience with Uhaul is that I would have been better using a different company. The customer service is terrible. I ordered a trailer, a furniture dolly, 12 blankets, & a roll of furniture wrap. I had to go to 4 different locations to get everything because no effort was made on Uhaul's part to do a better job organizing their rental supplies.

Despite paying and checking in online the rental was not confirmed by location. After being subjected to picking truck up 60 miles from preferred location, I was also delayed 45 minutes trying to reach someone from U-Haul.
Put a key box closer to truck area
This experience was the worst we have ever had trying to rent a truck. I called 2 days ahead to confirm our truck since there was severe weather in the area we were. I was told no problem by the call center. THAT WAS NOT THE CASE! No truck when we go to get it. The nasty places you allow to rent your trucks is awful. We were sent hour and a half away to pick up a truck and was told to use our “smart phone†to check it Out. NO SERVICE. This kind of business practices will ruin your Company. No I will never use you and I will tell everyone not to use you. Your system and prices are the worst. Jim and Shelly Joice

Make sure order is correct. I had to go through the hassle of getting the right order the next day. Was not a smooth process.
No one was present at 8:15 this morning when I dropped off the tow dolly. I phoned in with a detailed message and took pictures of the dolly just in case.

Drop off was smooth as butter in a hot skillet! Sales lady was prompt and friendly! Checked everything out and sent me on my way in just a few minutes. Great job Uhaul! Trailer I rented was very easy to pull and well balanced, hardly knew it was behind me!
The experience was absolutely horrible and only had to go to Eunice due to continual mishaps in Lafayette and Churchpoint! The location in Churchpoint shoulda hand their licenses revoked?

While I am happy with the service & customer service attitude I received at both of the above locations, I am very unhappy with the handling of my reservation via Uhaul customer service agent. I was basically sent on a wild goose chase! I don't know that I'll use Uhaul again, to be honest.
