Staff at this location needs cross-training in the UHaul rental process. The staffer who normally handles those duties was out of the office and the staffer who handled my rental was not as knowledgeable about the process as she needed to be and therefore the rental process took longer than it should have. Other than that, the process went smoothly.

Personnel did not honor my reservation made through the U-Haul website and up-charged me by quite a lot. They said I should call them and not go through the website. They also did not tell me to pick up the dolly I rented and it was not in the truck when I went to load it. I called and was told they were in the store and I should have grabbed one on the way out, but I'm not in the habit of taking things from stores "on my way out." They didn't seem to understand their computer system nor how to handle reservations properly. When I dropped off the vehicle at my final destination, the woman there (Brenda) said the Eufaula location called and said someone was returning a truck without a dolly but didn't even know my name or contact information. I don't know how they are with their main business, but they appear to be incompetent in regard to U-Haul rentals.

Rented a trailer and the door lock was worn out. When I open the door at my loading location the safety latch came off in my had. Other than that every thing else was great. Except for the 42 min. Wait I had on the phone to report the broken latch..

The gas gauge was not right when I picked it up but since my friend drove it back to my house, I didn't not check it when we first picked it up. The mileage wasn't right either. I know better than to not check it but I forgot. They called me 3 hours before it was due to be dropped off to tell me that they had someone else that needed the truck. I was not told that my extra day would be $40 (the extra day of rental + the safe driver thing). I was told $14 (not sure why so low). I was told to use the website when I dropped it off to check it in, but that was "just a misunderstanding because we don't use the website or the app to check it in."

The Uhaul truck was clean and readily available. Unfortunately, the representative who serviced my transaction was very inattentive and not informative at all. When I asked if I could see a 15ft truck and a 20ft truck she said I couldn't tell the difference between the two by looking at them! When I went with the 15ft, she printed out the contract, explained nothing, and said I was good to go. When I asked her if I was supposed to verify the mileage and check for damages, she said they'll do that when I turned it in. I requested a turn in time of 4pm. She wrote on my contract, "if one minute late, uhaul will charge another day", however this location closes at 5 pm. And when customers drop equipment on weekends and overnight, how does uhaul determined if it was one minute late?!! She was just very nasty and unpleasant. Upon return, I walked in and she told me to put the key on the counter and I was good to go. I asked if I could have the truck checked in and receive a final bill before I left and she didn't get up off her butt. Another employee said, " I got it" and he went out and recorded the mileage, verified there was no damage, the truck was refueled and the appliance dolly was in the truck. All these items, if not properly recorded, could have allowed for my bank card to receive additional charges! If I should be in need of a uhaul in the future, she is reason enough to use another location, just to avoid the lackadaisical, unconcerned, unfriendly experience I received twice at this location!

I was charged $25 for a cleaning fee. The truck was not dirty other than foot traffic getting in and out of truck. This is ridiculous and your representative, Samantha, simply laughed when I told her I was going to dispute this.

1. They do not allow 26' Truck to move out of town, in case of out of town only 15' Truck, even though I was confirmed by U-haul on Line. They said it's their policy. Then they suggested 15' Truck + Trailer (6 X12). 2. I asked the 6X12' Trailer, but when I tried loading, I cannot control trailer and I returned the trailer. 3. But finally my fried recommend to me to use the trailer, I ask to rent the trailer to MPG again. 4. Finaly they charged the trailer twice, I returned after 1 hour, they charged full. Is it right? 5.
