I have had issues with U-Haul before and said I would never use them again but Lennard at Essex home hardware has made me rethink this. Due to his excellent customer service I will use U-Haul again but probably only from this location.Tammy P.

Empty the truck that was full of garbage and water bottles. Make sure you have someone that knows what they are doing when serving a customer. Not blame the problems on uhauls computer program. Waited almost an hour for someone to figure out how to get me my refund. Very unprofessional and uneducated about your service.Robert T.

This location was great if you deal directly with the employee at Home Hardware. Our experience with the uhaul website was awful. It took us over an hour to try to get the website to allow us access to our truck, we used the chat online for help, as well as calling the 1-800 number and no one was able to fix the problem. Very inconvenient to have to wait over an hour in our car on the day we are moving. Not once did anyone tell us that the employee in home hardware could verify our license for us.Donald G.

Reserved a Uhaul from the Essex, ont Home Hardware. The kid helping me had no idea what to do. No idea how to input the information into the computer. No idea how to hook up the trailer. Thank goodness I have common sense and watched your videos. Then I told him I was going to drop it off at Walker rd location as it was close to my house he said no problem. I get to the Walker rd location and they have no idea what im talking about. Then I have to call the "18882272282" number to straighten everything out. The representative I talked to said "ok no problem go back inside and let them know everything is fine" I go back inside the kid working has no idea what im talking about. I have to call that number again and have the service agent talk the kid though how to enter the return at the Walker rd location. The customer service was worst I ever had. I'll never rent from Uhaul again.Chris M.

The size of the trailer says 6x12, when in fact it is only 6x10. As well there should identify the hitch can only receive up to a 2â€ ball. I had a 2 5/16â€ ball and would not fit. Thankfully they had a 2â€ ball and receiver to make it work. The staff was very helpful and excellent service!!!!!DAN S.
Try not ripping off your customers because of "moving" season. Prices are outrageous just because it's nice weather! Used the same size truck for the same move a couple months earlier and it was half the cost. Greedy mothers.darrel J.
For starters, give me a 26' moving truck that doesnt already have about 120 blue moving blankets in the trailer and then not do anything about it. Also not useful at night time because the lights in the trailer were broken. Worst customer service from head office and ignorance at the store where rented. Never using this ungrateful company and their lowsey, dirty trucks again! Stay away!Alex G.
Uhaul needs to honour their verbal contract with their customer by sticking to the agreed upon pick-up and delivery locations. It is not fair to tell customers last minute that they need to drive much further to pick up and drop off their rental truck. You made an already busy and long day much more stressful. I could not be more disgusted by your call centre staff. They actually laughed at our problems. There was also a lot of drama when returning the vehicle ten minutes after the store closed (10 hours before it was due to be returned). I will never use U-Haul again, and I have shared this information with others. I couldn't be more disappointed in your policies and customer service. PS I found it hysterical that the sign you posted at the centre said â€œuhaul guarantees your vehicle when and where it was promised to you.â€ *We also had to wait 40 minutes to get it because only one computer was working at the site, and the customer who beat us by one minute's vehicle was parked behind ours and wouldn't attach to his vehicle. All in all - appalling service. We feel sorry for the Home Hardware workers who have to face YOUR disgruntled customers. Shame on you.jessica D.

the staff at Home Hardware are wonderful and helpful. The trailer however was filled with dirt, grease and wood shavings. We only had a sheet of dry wall to lay on the bottom of the trailer to protect our mattresses from being ruined from the grime in this unit.Tricia W.
