The after hours check in process didn't work, I was sent to a particular vendor site and my location wouldn't log from my phone. In chatting with Uhaul, I was informed that it was not a 24/7 site but the 24/7 box was on the outside of the building. I ended up putting the keys and contract in the box and calling the next day.

This is not the location I requested. I requested Pantry in Rapid River. I would have prefered that location. I did not have a problem with Genes. I did not appreciate my pick up location being changed or the extra miles with no compensation.

Received email from U-Haul and text messages to drop vehicle off at an address in Gladstone, Michigan (901 Superior Avenue) and that business is out-of-business and closed. I remembered where Jean's Towing in Escanaba, Michigan was so I dropped it off there on Saturday afternoon, May 26th. Their office and business was closed for the Memorial Day weekend and I locked the truck and did the "drop box" thing. It worked and I confirmed with them this morning that they received my equipment back in good condition. Thank you.

I had to drop the trailer somewhat in the way as there was no good place to leave it. It was not very organized. The biggest problem I had was I could not check in on the app or website with my phone. I kept getting an error. so i left the trailer at the drop off site. once home I was able to log in with my computer but I could not with my phone. I tried calling the 800 number at the site and from home. at the site I was on the line for 30 minutes and another 15 once I got home. No one ever answered. I had to use online chat with my laptop to correspond at all. I wasted a lot of time.

WAY UNDERSTAFFED!!! EACH EMPLOYEE WAS HELPFUL BUT WAY OVER-WORKED FOR THE NUMBER OF CUSTOMERS. I WAITED 2 HOURS BEFORE I WALKED OUT THE DOOR. IF THE PERSONNEL WERE SMART, THEY WOULD LOOK FOR ANOTHER ORGANIZATION TO WORK FOR!! UHAUL SUX AND I WOULD NEVER GO BACK FOR ANY REASON. ANY ALTERNATIVE IS BETTER THAN UHAUL!!

Actually check the trailers, assist customers. Was told by girl at counter that trailers were ok because "she just checked them all yesterday". Got home and had to put electrical tape to cover a wire that was worn through. There was also a loop missing where I needed to run a strap through to hold things in place. Finally, had a chain break on the first day of a 3-day trip!

Well I had several problems , I rented a 6 foot wide trailer, that I couldn't fit my 5ft wide payload in because of the design of trailer, when I tried to call to get an exchange for something that worked, all I got was sorry , they don't answer the phones on Saturday even though they told me they were open until Noon. So I wasted,much of a Saturday and paying for something I couldn't even use, waste of money, time and gas for nothing

When I picked up the U-Haul trailer the on site personnel were extremely helpful going so far as to attaching the trailer to my hitch. When I returned the trailer the personnel (different People) were very indifferent acting as though I was inconveniencing them. One of the individuals pointed to an area, without actually looking, and told me to place the trailer in one of the empty slots. Upon returning outside to comply I discovered that there were no empty slots. I then explained this to the individual behind the counter who then pointed in a direction and said to place it somewhere over there and they would move it later. I then backed the trailer "somewhere over there", dropped the trailer and left.

I had some difficulty with the self-service pickup. The app would not let me pick up the vehicle that I had reserved. I was standing outside in the winter weather for over 10 minutes with the agent from the 800- number trying to get this process working. Eventually, she gave up and advised that I start the pickup with an employee at the location. I would like to try using this program in the future.

The pick up and drop off services were fine. However, for Corporate U-Haul, the overall experience of trying to return the truck, SUCKED! You idiots do not maintain an accurate data base of pick up or return locations. I had to go to THREE DIFFERENT LOCATIONS to return my truck, because the first two were either out of the U-Haul business, or had shifted to Penske. And the third and final location had an incorrect address, so it was only with VERBAL directions from the Penske location was I able to find it! It took me an extra 90 MINUTES to return the stupid truck. Get your act in one sock, Corporate U-Haul, and keep an accurate data base (or Google) to prevent headaches in the future. I should be given a partial refund for all the extra time and effort I had to expend!
