I brought the truck back with MORE gas than it had when I rented it and they STILL charged me for $18 gas fees. It was at 3/4, confirmed by location and I was sent on my way, only to get my final bill that says it was at 1/2 tank!? I hope this was just an error and not something on purpose/fraud to overcharge me.

The service rep was awful. I'm giving you good recommendation only for the geographic location. The service rep acted like I was mentally-challenged or something. I am vision and hearing-impaired and I have very bad balance which is why I had another person, a driver, with me. But he only talked to them. Apparently people are expected to see the computer screen. My driver had to keep writing things down for me (the service rep wouldn't do it) and when we finished, the rep DID NOT GIVE ME THE KEYS, THE RECEIPT, or THE AGREEMENT. He put it all in an envelope and gave it to the person who drove the truck. That was OK but it really ticked me off and I decided overnight to try to find out what happened. They (the driver and his helper) did not have the keys! They said they left it with me, on the counter, but that was impossible because we did not return into the apt after getting the truck. It led to a lot of stress and nastiness today and I eventually called the police for them to help resolve the matter. Police could not find the keys, either. Anyway, my point is that the rep should have given me the keys and paperwork in the first place. Even if I was not the driver, I paid. They ended up charging me $100 for towing the truck. Next time I will get someone who I know better and who is more responsible to drive the truck. They are dopers.

Old fashion style truck, No cruise control available, really?!!! Luckily I had a good drive, he found the truck tough, no acceleration for the most part, just an OK truck. Great people, and places, need to up grade equipment.

It was a little daunting to arrive and leave the facility during any rush hour. The personnel were knowledgeable and quick to point out the easiest way to to leave their facilities for a minimal hassle.

I did online check in, then had to re do it once I got there. The woman I worked with could not make the system work efficiently and every step took a second time through. The trailer I renter was 12x6 but would not hold a 5'9" refrigerator. WHATS UP WITH THAT?

Not enough staff working. Had to find someone to check me back in. Mentioned I never opened the blankets I rented and was shrugged off--I never used them can't I get that money back? They were still in the bag.

Your service was very much below my expectations. The woman I originally made my reservation with told me that the trailer assigned would be proper for the tow of my 79' ford, it was not. I also told her that I wanted to do a one way trip. She listed me as a round-trip ticket. As I went in to return the improper trailer. I left the store paying more because of the one way fees. The store the woman told me to return the uhaul to was closed and I am still yet to recieve a call back from them 3 days after I called 3 times. (120th ave location) To top all of this off, I recieved a call from the englewood location mid move, another womab asked me when I was planning on picking up my truck and trailer..... so i was also double booked. I experienced very poor service and will probably never come back. I encourage all to steer clear of U-Haul.

Sunday and only one staff person trying to handle both truck rentals and storage space rentals. waited 1/2 for help. although we chose to register online for quick pick up, poor cell reception at site didn't allow us to access the site to complete the process. many people waiting to get help, and the one staff member did not know how to prioritize. the other staff member finally came to help, but was so unfriendly and acted as if we were putting him out. you have a nice facility and good equipment to rent, but administration needs to be made efficient and professional.

picking up the truck and dealing with the people at the rental place was excellent. my concern is ordering the U-Haul movers online I do not recommend that to anybody when I called to confirm a time and to tell them that I was only going to use two of the three hours and I was going to pay for the three hours they refused to even send anybody out and the guy was very rude told me that I was being disrespectful to him and he wasn't going to tolerate it because I had to keep the whole 3 hours even though I was paying for the three hours ,and led me within an hour or two of me needingI ended up with no movers because he cancelled me within an hour or two of me needing them. So I do not recommend the Mover portion of U-Haul to anyone they will leave you hanging

The associate that we interacted with wasn't very knowledgeable about the process and didn't communicate clearly. We were moving to Stamford, CT, but he sent us to another location without any explanation, even though I had entered Stamford into the online system beforehand. When we asked about getting storage at the location, he said we'd be able to take care of it when we arrived. What he didn't tell us, and what we only figured out after several phone calls and driving an extra 2 hours in rush hour traffic pulling a trailer, was that the location he sent us to didn't have storage facilities, and the location we had requested didn't have room for our trailer. That was pretty frustrating. The guy who actually helped us hook up the trailer was nice enough though.

The lights didn't work on the first trailer and the meter the tech had indicated that it was my vehicle. Luckily, there was another guy "on loan" from another location. After thoroughly checking my whole system, he got another device, and lo and behold, it showed that my system was fine and the short must be in the trailer. Bad trailer and testing tool! Luckily, good people - kudos to them!
