The truck, the drop off, was perfect. The after hours pick up using the secret code etc. was unbelievably tedious and lengthy. There is no Wi-Fi available in the immediate area of the store so you have to go to a bar around the corner and get a password for the local bar Internet. I was in subjected to 40 minutes of computer interrogation, pictures of me and my drivers license the back of my drivers license phone numbers of at least two people are we ready to kiss off the hundred dollars and just leave but I really needed the truck. I call it technology gone cuckoo. You have to do a better job on that in.

The employee Ralph made a huge error when I picked up my truck. I only needed this truck for a half day, in town. Ralph typed in that I'm returning the truck on March 28, instead of Feb. 28! This mistake charged my Chase acct $647, to which Ralph said it would all get reversed when I returned the truck. When I brought the truck back, using it less than 4 hours, Ralph recalculated my bill, & came out to $36, which is correct. Ralph stated that a credit from Uhaul will be on my Chase acct for $611, & will happen same day. I asked "what if it doesn't credit me today, do I come back & talk to you" Ralph said "no, you have to deal directly with Uhaul now, it's out of my hands". Considering it was Ralph's error that caused an overcharge of $611, I didn't think that was the proper way to handle a repeat customer. The $611 credit still has not come back to my Chase acct. I called a Uhaul phone # and was told it would be 3-5 business days before it hits my acct! This is unacceptable.

Since it is located in the Postal Annex there was a wait to pick up the truck. Other than that it was fine. Could have been a bit friendlier.

The location was clean and the clerk was very nice. With that said the process to get the vehicle took way longer than expected. I arrived 20 minutes early and had to wait 20 minutes for 1 customer in front of me. The vehicle itself was clean but had a pungent odor like a farm animal was inside. Finally, I won't be using Uhaul's services again as the "19.99" price for a van is incredibly misleading. I ended up spending over $100 dollars for 40 miles and 3 hours worth of time + gas.

This isn't necessarily specific to this location but the price of the truck was crazy. I get supply and demand but I've never paid more than $250 for a one-way rental but this time it was over $1000 for a 20'. Going the other direction (PHX->SAN) was only $100. This is the first time I've actually felt cheated with U-Haul. Also, inside of the truck was a dolly and furniture pads. I didn't want these but they were there taking up valuable (and un-movable) in the overpriced truck that I had. If I want upsells, I'll purchase them ahead of time. Don't reduce the limited truck space that I have for the potential of making an additional sale. This experience has really turned me off to using U-Haul in the future.

Truck was the dirtiest thing I have been in in my whole life and I am 54 years old. It smelled like cigarettes and I don’t think the inside has ever been cleaned once. Fortunately I only had to use the truck for about an hour as I don’t think I could’ve sat in it much longer. I was amazed that a truck with only 7700 miles could be that disgusting.

Would have been nice to pick up the Uhaul with a full tank of gas. Also, the inside was not all that clean. Half drank water bottles under the seat, cup holders were dirty. Other than those details, I was pleased with my experience. The gentleman that helped me was very nice and made the experience good.

We waited 30 minuets while the attendant processed notary documents for a different business. Then when he finally attended to us the total time required was less than one minute. He should have processed the rapid transaction first

I broke the plastic ring that attached the dolly to the truck. However, I didn't need to use the dolly, so I was really pleased that I was not charged for this. Also, I parked the truck at the end, although not very well, so I was glad to have the manager redo this. Now and then I help people move, so I will be coming back to rent another truck. Thank you for all your patience, God bless you!

It was fast service, in and out, I would recommend this location. If you have the rental over night, don't leave your car in the front lot. Park in the back. There was a warning on my car that they will toe it.

Even though I returned the truck within 24 hours I was overcharged by a whole day which was very disappointing. Please be clearer about the online return instructions. It is very unfair to overcharge people for extra days when they return the trucks on time.

I asked for two furniture dollys and was told they were there. When I went to pick them and the truck up, they were not there. I had to drive to another location and they didn’t give me any extra miles. Plus the discount I was suppose to get was not given. I was told I would have to call the manager back on Monday to get the credit. Very sloppy arrangement.

The "location" itself was not great. Never knew it was a U-Haul rental. The trucks have to be parked in the back so many people may not know it is even a Uhual rental. The guy running the operation did a great job!
