If the truck was backed into the parking area, it would be must easier to pull out. This location is on a curved road, and visibility was challenging.

Representative had doors locked and was not in location at the time of my pickup. I even called ahead to confirm. He immediately left after he gave me the keys and when I called him about possible issues with the truck he wouldn't come look at it. He just told Me to let it warm up. He told me he was in a meeting and would deal with me after. I waited outside for 30 minutes in 20 degree weather for the representative to show up.
Adrien H.The absolute worst rental in my adult life. I'm a 60yr old man, I've rented from UHaul over the years and have always had a reasonable experience. This time was not the same. I absolutely could not reschedule this move so I had to move forward with what UHaul had available. A truck that had been robbed of its catalytic converter. The loudness was almost unbearable. Power steering that worked intermittently. Breaks that were very squishy, noisy and sometimes questionable. Overall the worst experience ever.
steve K.There were no people onsite which was expected. But instead of a helpful phone number to call, there was a uhaul smartphone checkout which was painful and took too long to even get to function.
scott B.I arrived at the location. I was told I could use online check in. NOTE: this requires a number of steps to confirm one's identity that maybe you should tell people about before they are standing in a parking lot in the cold. Then it told me to go inside to get the key. Problem was the doors were locked. I called the number and was told it was not set up for remote check-in. Then I sat on the phone for 20 min while they tried to call the place. Then I was told they could not reach the dealer, but the area manager reached them, and they would be there in 2 min. 10 min later I received a text asking if I still needed a Uhaul. final someone shows up, tries to check me in, realized I already checked in, and finally gives me the key that is just sitting on the desk. Oh, and the truck had a dolly that I didn't ask for and none of the pads that I did. So I then had to wait for him to count out a dozen furniture pads. At the end of the trip, the online checkout tries to charge me for gas even though I added gas to the level at the start. Horrible. Go to an in-person dealer, or better yet, hire a mover with a truck
