You need to have more than ONE person working on the weekends. It took almost an hour to check in though I did the on line check in!!!!! It was just tossed. I have to recommend this for renting trucks as its the ONLY one in town!

Day before my reservation started, I get notified that the truck I reserved was no longer available(26’) and that I would now be stuck with a 15’. I arrive to pick up said truck and my reservation was cancelled. The manager(Mike) informed me that my reservation was cancelled because I didn’t show up within 30 minutes of my reservation. I looked thru my reservation confirmation emails and nowhere was that policy stated. This was very upsetting as I was then told that in the 30 minutes beyond my “reservation cancellation time slot” they had already gotten rid of my truck and the only thing left was a cargo van. I was moving a 3 bedroom house and farm. This was highly unacceptable. The only positive light was the manager Mike. He got on the phone and tried finding me something. He was able to figure something out, but just couldn’t get my allotted reservation time of 2 days. He was the one and only positive experience that I had with using UHaul this time. The truck cab wreaked of cigarettes. I will never recommend UHaul after this experience.

Worst customer service, employee installed wrong size hitch ball, installed incorrectly. The hitched failed in Loisville,Ky. Which did $700.00 worth of damage to my vehicle. Also after the employee installed the hitch she told me she never put one on? The manager of the store was there. He was to busy putting up Halloween decorations with his daughter to help his employee with issues she was having.

reservation system is awful coordination with local office is awful Had to go back 3 times after I had a res # slow service First time I went in during normal hours no one in office for 10 minutes Just smoking in parking lot. Got wrong info from local people after waiting in line etc etc etc

This facility was quite large, with many trucks parked around and a lot going on. There was only one employee there to take care of everything by himself, which made the wait much longer. The trailer was not working correctly, so he had to spend an hour fixing that. The initial process was not explained fully, which lead to much frustration and anxiety on my part. They actually expected me to pick up the truck,drive 50 miles home, load it and drive back to have them load the trailer and car! Seems the company doesn’t have a clear idea of what the client needs when undertaking a huge project such as moving.

I had to give all of the same information at the site as I gave online to "cut pickup time by 50%". The counter person's computer was extremely slow, and she complained about it repeatedly.

The manager Michael was very courteous. He helped to resolve my issues after having a horrible experience at the Painted Post location. His customer service skills were amazing! Because of him I may consider using U-haul in the future.

Cody and Mike were both very nice, helpful, and apologetic due to the computer systems experiencing issues. Both of them were very courteous and polite. Upon returning the van, however, Christine Miller was visibly upset and incredibly rude. Even stating “I guess we won’t be leaving on time tonight, you know we close at seven, right?”. Christine was very unprofessional and seemed burdened to have to perform her job duties. When I had inquired about the change in price after being under the estimated mileage and returning the vehicle with a full tank of gasoline her response was “well I don’t know” and was very disgruntled when I had asked her to try to figure out why. I hope Christine gets the training she needs to adequately perform her job functions and learn some professionalism along the way.

Ordered a 15ft truck because I needed it for our business needs since it had a ramp. I called the corporate number and they said that there was a 15ft truck available, but it got switched to a 10ft truck when I got there. Also, I ordered it for a one location but was told when I got there that it was reserved at a further location. I was very annoyed and I’m not sure who’s fault it was (corporate or the local store), but I set it up for my corporate account and was not pleased. The local place was rude on the phone but when I got there they made a lot of accommodations so I was pleased with that. But I prefer to get the stuff I ordered. You should be able to provide people with correct information on the phone vs. changing it after they hang up. That’s just bad business.
